Fire officials are investigating a Wednesday afternoon blaze that destroyed a trailer and damaged a garage in Tuolumne.

The was reported about 5 p.m. on the 18700 block of Pine Street.

An unoccupied trailer was demolished and the fire spread to a garage, said Capt. Nick Ohler of the Tuolumne Fire Protection District.

Neighbor James Abbott said he saw three youths running from the area at the time the fire occurred.

Fire officials are reviewing footage from a neighbor's surveillance camera.
