The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:22 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone was rummaging through a garbage receptacle at a restaurant on the first block of California Street.

8:43 a.m., Mountain Ranch - Someone on Whiskey Slide Road was yelling and throwing shoes at people.

9:04 a.m., Copperopolis - A vehicle was left at the scene of a robbery on Hunt Road.

12:23 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Berkesey Lane reported a telephone scam.

4:49 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - A distraught man who was not wearing a shirt or shoes was seen on West Center Street.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:35 a.m., San Andreas - Vanessa Michele LeGrande, 35, of the 2000 block of Quail Oaks Road, Valley Springs, was arrested at North Roberts Avenue.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:51 p.m., theft - Someone on Alpine Lane said a camera was stolen.

3: 40 p.m. traffic violation - An arrest was made and a vehicle towed on South Washington Street.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


11:49 a.m., Tuolumne - Someone said that a suspicious vehicle was parked at a residence on Tuolumne Road and someone was sleeping inside it.

12:38 p.m., Sonora - Someone said that a suspicious vehicle was parked on Overlook Drive at Black Oak Road.

1:12 p.m., Sonora - Someone claiming to be a lawyer called a man and told him that his nephew was in trouble and needed money.

5:20 p.m., Groveland - A woman on Big Foot Circle said someone stole her identity and filed taxes in her name.

6:38 p.m., Mi-Wuk - A woman on Paipu Road said that a man had a pocket knife and threatened to slash her car tires.

7:04 p.m.,. Sonora area - A shoplifting arrest was made at a Mono Way business.

7:32 p.m., Columbia - Someone on Bald Mountain Road said that he heard high frequency noise at a neighbor's house.

10:34 p.m., Sonora area - Someone on Feather River Drive said that a neighbor had Christmas lights up in the backyard, and people were yelling and screaming.

10:59 p.m., La Grange - Someone on Valverde said their neighbors moved out and left behind four dogs, two cats and numerous roosters.

Felony bookings


8:23 a.m., Tuolumne - Janice Lucille Edens, 58, of the 18000 block of Birch Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest at her home.
