The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:48 p.m., controlled substance - A man on Morning Star Drive argued with a person who took a marijuana pipe from him.

8:03 p.m., suspicious circumstance - A man was sleeping on a balcony of a building on Hospital Road.

9:49 p.m., suspicious circumstance - A man at a Sanguinetti Road business tried on sandals and walked out without paying.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


1:22 p.m., Twain Harte - A man on Confidence Road said his nephew took his mother's hard drive from her computer.

3:18 p.m., Jamestown - A Rawhide Road woman said a vehicle hit her fence.

4:17 p.m., Sonora area - A Big Hill Road man said two bags of crushed cans were taken from his residence.

9:02 p.m., Tuolumne - A Sunswept Drive man believed he found his stolen property on Craigslist.

9:50 p.m., Jamestown - A woman on Seco Street said her neighbor's dog jumped over her fence and tried to get in her dog door.


1:15 a.m., Tuolumne - Heavy snowfall caused vehicles to spin out and block Tuolumne Road.

Felony bookings


2:15 p.m., Sonora - James Burnette Manning, 49, of the 4000 block of Westside Road, Redding, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on the 700 block of Morning Star Drive.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:11 a.m., Arnold - A Longman Lane man said a neighbor egged his windows.

2:03 p.m., San Andreas - A Jeff Tuttle Drive man said his overnight date took his medications.

2:11 p.m., Murphys - Someone on Highway 4 said a go-cart was stolen.

11:31 p.m., Arnold - An arrest was made for trespassing on Fir Drive.

The California Highway Patrol reported the following:


2:05 p.m., Arnold - A minor injury accident occurred on Highway 4 east of Shirewood Lane. Two vehicles collided when a driver traveling at an unsafe speed for snowy conditions crossed the double-yellow lines.
