A big-rig driver crashed his truck into a ditch on Jamestown Road this morning.

The accident, north of Golf Links Road, was reported to the California Highway Patrol about 7:10 a.m.

By 7:50 a.m., CHP officers were conducting one-way traffic control on Jamestown Road while a tow truck attempted to haul the semi-truck from the ditch.

The driver, whose identity was not released, was uninjured, according to Officer Nick Norton.

The cause is still under investigation, he said.
