The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:29 a.m., San Andreas - A person said there was a bobcat in their yard killing chickens and cats, and chasing dogs on Willow Creek Road,

1:21 p.m., San Andreas - A school on High School Street was cited for a health and safety violation.

8:23 p.m., San Andreas - A woman and her dog were sitting at a fence line on Pope Street. She was screaming and crying. When neighbors asked if they should call the Sheriff's Office she said, "If you need to."


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


11:15 p.m., Murphys - Meghan Elisabeth Gantz, 26, of the 2000 block of Murphys Drive, Arnold, was booked after an arrest at Highway 4 and Parrotts Ferry Road.

Felony bookings


8:11 p.m., Arnold - La Vesha Crawford Illidge, 50, of the first block of Longman Lane, was booked on suspicion of possessing and transporting drugs, misdemeanor DUI and disobeying a court order, after an arrest on the 1000 block of Highway 4.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:20 a.m., vandalism - A car tire was slashed on East Jackson Street.

10:12 a.m., trespass - A homeless camp was set up on private property on Knowles Hill Road.

4:41 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A person reported seeing illegal dumping on a property on Southgate Drive. An officer confirmed that it was a construction company working on the property.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:05 a.m., Sonora Area - A woman was carjacked on Cabezut Road.

9:22 a.m., Sonora Area - Three dollars worth of gas was taken from a car parked on Sunny Hill Court.

10:22 a.m., East Sonora - A Hess Avenue apartment manager sprayed the elevator with bleach. A woman said that the smell made it difficult to breath.

4:33 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman on Carter Street said a man broke into her house and stole her bed and dresser.

7:35 p.m., Jamestown - A cow broke a fence and was in the road on High Tech Drive.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


4:45 a.m., Soulsbyville - Tyler Martin Esparza Weldy, 21, of the 1900 block of Grace Way, Sonora, was booked after an arrest at Soulsbyville and Black Oak roads.

Felony bookings


8:26 a.m., Sonora - Victoria Helen Beebe-Zelmer, 51, of the 13000 block of Beckwith Road, was booked on suspicion of carjacking, after an arrest at Stockton Road and Green Street.

10:13 a.m., Sonora - Timothy Leo Coulter, 32, of the 1400 block of Prospect Lane, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, and violation of probation, after an arrest at Stockton Road and Mill Villa Court.

2:20 p.m., Sonora area - Bernard Andrew Short, 29, of the 16000 block of Creekside Drive, was booked on suspicion of bringing drugs into a jail/prison and misdemeanor resisting arrest, after an arrest made at his home.
