The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


5:22 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A man was asked to get out of a Dumpster at a business on South Washington Street.

2:24 p.m., assault - A man put a woman in a "choke hold." She declined medical treatment.

2:57 p.m., public assist - Directions were given to lost motorcyclists touring the area.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:54 a.m., Columbia - Two pit bulls were "tearing each other apart" on Columbia Village Drive.

11:47 a.m., Mono Way- A caregiver at a home woke up when someone punched her.

12:33 p.m., Jamestown - A man in a blue shirt and wheelchair was in a woman's driveway on Wigwam Road, screaming and hitting something.

1:28 p.m., Sonora - An elderly woman on Belleview Road called 911. She said she was unable to find her granddaughter, but forgot the granddaughter's last name.

2:18 p.m., Columbia - A woman found a pearl necklace, and other costume jewelry dumped on her South Airport Road property.

6:10 p.m., Twain Harte - A man said "I will see you in the afterlife" and while walking down Highway 108.

7:54 p.m., Groveland - A woman on Ferretti Road said she was being harassed on an online social site.


7:37 a.m., Sonora - A horse was walking down the middle of Tuolumne Road.

Felony bookings


5:50 p.m., Jamestown - Farrell Trent Debates Jr., 20, of the 21000 block of Phoenix Lake Road, was booked on suspicion of being an accessory to a felony after an arrest on the 10000 block of Preston Lane.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:38 a.m., Hathaway Pines - An argument occurred on Segale Road.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


10:43 p.m., Valley Springs - Eleanor Rose Solo, 48, of the 3000 block of Botfuher Road, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 and Mangili Road.


12:15 p.m., Vallecito - Levy James Williams, 30, of the 5000 block of East Immigrant Trail Road, Mountain Ranch, was booked after an arrest on the 1000 block of Highway 4.

7:17 p.m., Angels Camp - Kenneth Dale Winland Jr., 47, of the 4000 block of Fillmore Street, Santa Clara, was booked after an arrest on Smith Flat Road.

Felony bookings


8:30 a.m., San Andreas - Kenneth Kelley, 45, of the 900 block of Country Lane, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on the 500 block of Toyon Drive.


8:00 p.m., Murphys, - Charlie Waylon Amstutz, 34, of the 1700 block of Sandalwood Drive, Murphys was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence after an arrest on the 100 block of Big Trees Road.

8:45 p.m., Sheep Ranch - Marjorie Ann Hale, 52, of the 300 block of Hawkwind Way, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor resisting arrest, after an arrest at her home.


6:55 p.m., Valley Springs - James Holt Leslie, 42, of the 8000 block of O'Reilly Street, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.


7:06 p.m., Copperopolis - Alfred Munoz Bustos, 59, of the 700 block of Wild Lilac Court, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of making threats, and misdemeanor driving under the influence and resisting arrest after an arrest at Reeds Turnpike.
