The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:23 a.m., parking citation - A driver was cited for parking backward on West Bradford Avenue.

12:44 p.m., public intoxication - A woman with blonde hair and a pink top was arrested for being drunk in a gazebo on Hospital Road.

11:01 p.m., Suspicious circumstances - A man heard a whistle outside of his Corky Lane home.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:55 a.m., Jamestown - A business owner at Woods Way refused to give a tractor back to a customer who owed him money.

10:00 a.m., Jamestown - A man told a moving company he was with the Central Intelligence Agency. He threatened to bring a gun when they delivered his goods to a storage facility on Victoria Place.

10:07 a.m., Sonora area - A woman claiming to be with the Census Bureau was knocking on doors on Pradera Real Road. She left a flower and a note on a woman's door, asking her to call back for a phone interview.

2:37 p.m. Sonora area - A Kewin Mill Road resident received "fraudulent bills from the Yellow Pages."

6:27 p.m., Sonora area - A Wilcox Road resident said that her sister was harassing her by driving up the driveway and honking a horn.

7:15 p.m., East Sonora - A woman on Mono Way said she caught her roommate using her "initialed" spices and utensils.

Felony bookings


4:48 p.m., Tuolumne - Michael Timothy Barlass, 19, of the 18000 block of Cedar Street, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed knife and misdemeanor battery, after an arrest at his home.

9:47 p.m., Jamestown - Ruben Diaz Cortez, 41, of the 18000 block of Ninth Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession with intent to sell, after an arrest at his home.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:46 a.m., Sonora - Kim Trelane Twitt, 46, of the 700 block of Shaws Flat Road, was arrested in a parking lot on Mono Way.

2:03 a.m., Jamestown - Anthony John Anderson, 43, of the 700 block of Laurel Lane, Hanford, was arrested at Fifth Avenue.

4:55 p.m., Sonora - Stephen Josef Krismanits, 28, of an unknown address, was arrested at the corner of Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:12 a.m., San Andreas - A baby playing with a cell phone dialed 911 multiple times.

Felony bookings


12:08 a.m., Valley Springs - Waite Nathan Fisher, 34, of Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, battery, vandalism and resisting arrest, after an arrest at the intersection of highways 12 and 26.

10:21 a.m., Wallace - Tony Bryan Martin Sr., 50, of an unspecified address in Wallace, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, violating probation, and resisting arrest after an arrest at the 7000 block of Highway 12.
