The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


12:56 p.m., San Andreas - A possibly intoxicated man walked into a business on East Saint Charles Street and caused a disturbance.

3:56 p.m., Valley Springs - A man said there were motorcycle tracks across his yard on Hartvickson Lane.

6:23 p.m., San Andreas - There was a report of vandalism at a business on West Saint Charles Street.

6:48 p.m., Murphys - A burglary occurred on Rocky Hill Road.

8:34 p.m., Murphys - A vehicle was burglarized on Sheep Ranch Road. The vehicle's registration was missing.

10:46 p.m., San Andreas - There was another report of vandalism at the same business on West Saint Charles Street.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


6:56 p.m., Valley Springs area - Justin Jeffery Harden, 24, of the 8400 block of McAtee Road, was arrested at Highway 26 and Warren Road.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:11 a.m., arrests - A 20-year-old man was booked into Tuolumne County Jail on suspicion of violating a restraining order, after an arrest on Mono Way.

10:18 a.m., theft - Loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on East Bald Mountain Road.

3:22 p.m., fight - Three juveniles got into a fight on the third level of the Terzich parking garage on North Washington Street. An officer responded, and the juveniles were suspended from school for five days, pending an expulsion hearing due to past behavioral problems.

7:13 p.m., theft - A black leather jacket was reported stolen at a church on Yaney Avenue.

9:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone was shining a flashlight into a residence on South Barretta Street. An officer was unable to locate the suspect.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:08 a.m., Sonora area - Credit card fraud was reported on Mono Vista Road North.

11:35 a.m., Sonora area - A golf cart stolen from Phoenix Lake Golf Course on Paseo De Los Portales Road was located in a field and returned.

6:10 p.m., Jamestown - A woman said her prescription medication was stolen in a burglary at her home on Willow Street. She later cancelled the report after her sister found the medications at her house.

7:19 p.m., Tuolumne - Some extremely drunk people tried to buy beer and gas at a business on Tuolumne Road North and drove away in a white GMC pickup.

9:43 p.m., Sonora area - Sheriff's deputies spoke with the male driver of a suspicious vehicle parked at Nugget Boulevard and Tuolumne Road. The deputies saw a prescription pill bottle with the label missing next to the driver's seat and asked to see what was in it. The driver said it was ibuprofen but declined to show the deputies when they asked to see it. One of the deputies asked the driver to exit the vehicle and he refused. The deputy forced the man out of his vehicle and handcuffed him. A small amount of marijuana was found in the pill bottle, but the man had a doctor's recommendation for it and was released. No arrest was made.

7:49 p.m., Sonora - Michael Cody Valentine, 21, of the 19000 block of Andra Drive, was booked on suspicion of passing a fraudulent check, after an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

8:01 p.m., Tuolumne - Robert Alan Gregg, 25, of the 1900 block of Alex Way, Turlock, was arrested at a business on Tuolumne Road North.
