The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:39 a.m., San Andreas - A Calaveras River Academy student was cited for possessing contraband.

12:14 p.m., Valley Springs - A thin, unkempt man was hanging around a residence at Anderson Street and Westhill Road.

4:29 p.m., Murphys - Dirt bikes and go-carts were creating noise and dust on Rocky Hill Road.

4:52 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle was stuck in mud at a pond on Bullion Hill Drive.

11:10 p.m., Valley Springs - Vandalism was reported at a golf course on Highway 26.


4:53 a.m., Valley Springs - A burglary occurred on Baldwin Street.

7:13 a.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle was burglarized on Hartvickson Lane.

Felony bookings


2:10 p.m., San Andreas - Allen William Main, 65, of the 500 block of Marshall Avenue, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:50 a.m., public intoxication - A 54-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at a business on Sanguinetti Road.

10:20 a.m., unclassified - Two or three women were spreading out their clothing on the sidewalk in front of a business on Stockton Road. They cleaned up the area and left after an officer advised them of the complaint.

11:58 a.m., school assists - An officer assisted with a complaint regarding a juvenile's reckless driving at Sonora High School.

1:27 p.m., fraud - Someone tried to fill a fraudulent prescription on Greenley Road.

8:31 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A man who smelled of alcohol was looking through large metal trash bins behind a business on Sanguinetti Road. Officers were unable to locate him.

10:52 p.m., traffic violations - A red PT Cruiser was driving north on Stewart Street and the female driver was yelling out the window. The Cruiser wasn't located.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:57 a.m., Long Barn - Someone found a pressure washer with a Honda motor on Long Barn Road.

11:06 a.m., Columbia area - A woman left her wallet on top of her vehicle and drove away on Highway 49.

1:15 p.m., Columbia - An antique hydraulic wood splitter was stolen on Sierra Vista Court. The suspect was driving a white pickup truck.

2:13 p.m., Jamestown - An AT&T worker said a homeowner on Rawhide Road was yelling at him and a co-worker while they were trying to repair a phone line.

7:13 p.m., Sonora area - An anonymous resident on Lucky Strike Trail said the whole neighborhood smelled like marijuana and suspected it was coming from a certain address. The person called back a few minutes later and said the smell was from a skunk.

Felony bookings


9:27 p.m., East Sonora - Steven John Cadinha, 52, of the 2600 block of Gelding Lane, Livermore, and Christina Marie Torres, 44, of an unknown address in Modesto, were each booked on suspicion of drug possession, after arrests on the 13700 block of Mono Way.
