The California Highway Patrol late last night in Sonora arrested a couple with over a pound of marijuana, dozens of grams of methamphetamine and four unregistered guns.

Steven S. Noah, 32, of San Ramon, and Stephanie R. Relva, 30, of Loomis, were booked on several charges after being pulled over for erratic driving at 9:55 p.m. on Highway 108, east of Washington Street.

Noah was charged with drug possession, transporting or selling drugs, drug paraphernalia possession, driving on a suspended license for DUI and possession of large capacity magazines.

Relva was charged with drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession and possession of hypodermic needles.

The arresting officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana after pulling the Chevrolet Suburban over and a search was done of the vehicle, according to CHP.

It yielded 674.7 grams of marijuana - roughly a pound and a half - individually wrapped at weighted amounts, about 50 grams of methamphetamine, several used hypodermic needles, substances believed to be heroin and hashish oil, four unregistered guns and large capacity magazines.

One shotgun, two rifles and a handgun were recovered.
