TUD’s new GM to outline plans

PUBLIC MEETING: Tuolumne Utilities District, 2 p.m., Monday, TUD administration office, 18885 Nugget Blvd., Sonora.

The Tuolumne Utilities District Board of Directors is scheduled to meet Monday to discuss new TUD General Manager Tom Scesa's goals and plans for the county's largest public utility.

A special public meeting at 2 p.m. will cover Scesa's objectives for the district in three basic categories: finance, administration and operations. The board will use the plan to evaluate the general manager's performance in the future, Scesa said.

The board named Scesa to the general manager position on Oct. 23, the day after buying out former GM Pete Kampa's contract for about $150,000.
