Fire damages Sonora Elementary

Union Democrat staff

A fire broke out and damaged Sonora Elementary School Saturday night.

Fire crews were still on scene cleaning up Sunday morning. According to the Sonora Police Department, a call came in at approximately 9:40 p.m. Saturday. The Sonora Fire Dpartment responded and was assisted by multiple fire agencies, including Cal Fire.

Futher information wasn't immediately available.
