New Panda Express in?

Union Democrat staff

The former Blockbuster Video building in The Crossroads plaza could soon house a Panda Express restaurant.

Sonora Community Development Director Rachelle Kellogg said this morning that the city is reviewing a building permit application.

The Chinese-style fast food restaurant will only occupy part of the building.

Blockbuster shuttered this year, and the structure has been largely vacant except for a temporary Halloween costume store.
