The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:36 a.m., found property - A pendant was found on the ground at a business on Mono Way.

9:43 a.m., theft - A fireman's helmet was stolen from inside his residence on East Bald Mountain Road.

11:52 a.m., fight - A fight occurred behind Cassina High School on South Barretta Street.

2:26 p.m., public intoxication - A 47-year-old woman was booked into Tuolumne County Jail on suspicion of public intoxication, after an arrest outside of a business on Sanguinetti Road.

4:34 p.m., burglary - Someone recovered items on Dusk Lane that were previously reported stolen from a white PG&E truck.

6:51 p.m., assault - Dispatchers received second-hand information regarding a woman who allegedly assaulted a man on South Washington Street and left on foot walking toward a gas station. Officers contacted the alleged victim, who wasn't injured, and he did not want to press charges. The woman was not located.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:15 a.m., Tuolumne - Someone on the 18300 block of Zeni Lane reported a case of identity theft after being enrolled at a college in Modesto without permission.

10 a.m., Jamestown - A dog attacked and badly injured another dog on the 18500 block of Jamestown Road.

10:34 a.m., Tuolumne - A new window at a business on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road was broken Sunday.

12:33 p.m., Jamestown - Trash was being dumped at a vacant lot near Ninth Street and Seventh Avenue.

3:13 p.m., Sonora area - Someone attempted to break into a storage shed at Jack Page and Old Sonora Columbia roads and caused $250 in damage to the door.

10:12 p.m., Jamestown - A 28-year-old woman was booked into Tuolumne County Jail on suspicion of public intoxication and child endangerment, after an arrest on the 17900 block of Seco Street.


3:43 a.m., Jamestown - About 40 pieces of mail were dumped in a large pile along the side of the road at Margaret and Jeanese drives.

6:44 a.m., Sonora area - A black briefcase containing government documents was stolen from a U.S. Forest Service truck parked on the 19500 block of Hess Avenue.

7:31 a.m., Crystal Falls - A man said someone cut off the brass end of his water hose on the 22500 block of South Colorado River Drive.

11:34 a.m., Valley Springs - A man was driving in circles in a parking lot on Highway 12.

1:44 p.m., Valley Springs - People were spotted painting or carving something into rock off Highway 12.

3:57 p.m., San Andreas - A theft occurred on Gold Strike Road.

4:50 p.m., San Andreas - The locks were cut at the Sierra Vista Lookout on Sierra Vista Lookout Road.


2:10 a.m., Angels Camp - A burglary occurred on Gardner Lane.

11 a.m., Arnold - James Alexander Qualls, 41, of the 200 block of Avery Sheep Ranch Road, Avery, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Highway 4 and Rancho Paradiso.

2 p.m., San Andreas - Raymond Alan Gideon, 32, of the 1200 block of Prussian Hill Road, Railroad Flat, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm causing great bodily injury, after an arrest on the 1500 block of Mountain Ranch Road.
