The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

3:47 p.m., theft - A wallet was reported stolen at a business on the first block of South Washington Street.

10:31 p.m., disorderly conduct - People were escorted off property on request after a disturbance on Mono Way.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:30 a.m., Sonora area - A mountain lion was seen two days ago on Racetrack Road.

12:40 p.m., Tuolumne - Someone said a man showed up with "a couple of thugs to extort money from" him. The man had reportedly done incomplete work for him and demanded payment, so the caller gave him some money for the work, and the men they threatened to come back and dump trash on his yard on Laurel Avenue.

1:10 p.m., Groveland - An oven fire was reported on Pleasant View Drive.

3:22 p.m., East Sonora - A man reportedly lifted a woman's laptop computer over his head in an aggressive manner at a business on the 13600 block of Tuolumne Road.

3:22 p.m., Sonora area - A counterfeit bill was reported at a business on Joshua Way.

4;05 p.m., Jamestown - Someone reported being assaulted on Oct. 6 at a business on the 18600 block of Highway 108.

4:22 p.m., Columbia - Assault was reported on Gunsight Road, but an agreement seemed to be reached later about a man moving out of a residence.

5:38 p.m., Sonora - A woman wanted a male roommate out after an argument escalated on Lori Lane.

6:42 p.m., Jamestown - A teenage boy reportedly shot and killed his neighbor's dog when it chased him as he returned from hunting. The neighbor reportedly assaulted the boy's family members after that on Harvard Mine Road.

11:57 p.m., Sonora area - Assault was reported on the 18500 block of Standard Road.

FRIDAY

3:59 a.m., Jamestown - Someone was arrested on misdemeanor warrants on the 16600 block of Highway 108.

THURSDAY

2:50 p.m., Sonora - Nicholas Michael Goodwin, 19, of the 22000 block of Fair Oaks Court, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and violation of probation after an arrest at Courthouse Square on North Washington Street.

11:20 p.m., Tuolumne - Brandon Keith Davis, 31, of the 18400 block of Gardner Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession after an arrest on Carter and Elm streets.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:36 a.m., Mountain Ranch - Trespassing was reported on Mountain Ranch Road.

2:26 p.m., Burson - A garage, barn and storage unit were reportedly broken into on Evergreen Road.

8:42 p.m., Angels Camp - Poaching was reported on Highway 4.

10:28 p.m., Valley Springs - A man was arrested on a felony warrant at Baldwin Lane and Highway 26.

11:28 a.m., Burson - Danny Ray Barbee, 48, of Lodi, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, possession of marijuana for sale, selling marijuana, possession of nunchakus, and misdemeanor burglary tool possession, drug paraphernalia possession and being intoxicated in public after an arrest at Burson Road and Camanche Parkway South.

11:28 a.m., Burson - Eugene Josef Maple, 44, of Acampo, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, possession of marijuana for sale, selling marijuana, possession of a billy club or similar weapon, and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession and being intoxicated in public after an arrest at Burson Road and Camanche Parkway South.
