Tioga Pass was closed Tuesday and will open as soon as crews deem it safe after this storm, according to Yosemite National Park.

Sonora Pass was closed this morning due to snow.

Ebbetts Pass closed about 10 a.m. for winter weather, according to Cal Trans.

A "Winter Weather Advisory" warned of 2 to 5 inches of snow possible above 6,000 feet.

A 50 percent chance of showers was forecast today for Sonora, with a slight chance of thunderstorms.

Between 0.10 and 0.25 inch of rainfall is expected, with higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday is forecast as mostly sunny and then sunny skies are forecast through Tuesday.
