The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:12 a.m., San Andreas - Someone was arrested on a local warrant at the county jail on Mountain Ranch Road.

11:12 a.m., Railroad Flat - Someone was arrested on a local warrant at Ridge and North Railroad Flat roads.

1:52 p.m., Copperopolis - Fuel and a life vest were reported stolen on Lakeshore Drive.

6:08 p.m., Railroad Flat - A trespass report was taken on Ridge Road.


7 a.m., Valley Springs - Grand theft was reported on Westhill Road.

8:20 a.m., Angels Camp - Theft was reported at a business on Gun Club Road.

9:13 a.m., San Andreas - A trespassing report was made at Calaveras Superior Court with a person refusing to leave the property.

10:27 a.m., West Point - A burglary was reported on Stockton Box Road.

11:09 a.m., Murphys - A suspicious van filled with firewood heading toward Douglas Flat on Highway 4 and Big Trees Road.

11:41 a.m., Angels Camp - A dog and goat were reported on the road at Murphys Grade Road and Rolleri Bypass.

2:30 p.m., Valley Springs - A person reported a strong smell of Marijuana on Siegel Street.

6:37 p.m., Valley Springs - A disturbance was reported with three young men yelling, screaming and having fun at the clay pits while reportedly making a tree. The reporting party suspected they were drunk because they were "acting weird," according to police.

6:50 p.m., Murphys - Two people were reported to be drinking outside of a dentist office at Tom Bell and Highway 4.

Felony bookings:


4:45 p.m., Copperopolis - David Richard Paul, 55, of the 24400 block of Quarter Horse Drive, was booked on suspicion of obtaining drugs through fraud and second degree burglary after an arrest on the 3500 block of Spangler Lane.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


2:13 a.m., Angels Camp - Raymond Scott Irby, 55, of Sunnyvale, was booked after an arrest on the 600 block of Main Street. He was also booked on suspicion of unlawful possession of prescription drugs.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


7:18 a.m., vandalism - Someone reported an apartment window broken at 5 a.m. on Fairview Lane.

12:50 p.m., harassment - A man entered the police station and said a woman had been following him around. He was told to call when he sees her again.

5:05 p.m., theft - A necklace was reported stolen on South Washington Street.

10:15 p.m., domestic violence - A woman who police said had been drinking was in the police station to report her boyfriend hitting her and someone selling drugs, but left when questioned by an officer.

11:30 p.m., traffic violations - A man was cited and released for driving without a license and a small amount of marijuana was seized and booked for destruction on East Lyons Street.


10 a.m., miscellaneous calls - A woman called police claiming there were drug problems around her North Washington Street business and said there were also fuel cans sitting outside of her business complex.

10:22 a.m., burglary - A man reported a wallet stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in front of a Sanguinetti Road business.

3:02 p.m., traffic accident - A hit-and-run was reported by a third party on Mono Way. No suspect could be determined.

5:31 p.m., unclassified - A blue Crown Victoria with a big bumper and no license plates was reported to be dropping off passengers in the city on Greenley Road.

6:06 p.m., theft - A theft was reported of personal belongings at Veterans Memorial Hall on North Washington Street.

11:06 p.m, suspicious circumstances - Banner Drive residents reported that their front door was open and lights were on when they got home despite having locked the door and left no lights on when they left.

9:23 a.m., countywide - A statement was issued from Alpine County about a runaway juvenile with a possible stolen silver 2005 Subaru Impreza. The youth was described as male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He may have been wearing a gray or black sweatshirt and khaki pants.

9:35 a.m., Sonora - An apartment was spray painted and holes were made in the walls on Chukar Circle.

11:36 a.m., Jamestown area - A burglary with theft was reported on La Grange Road.

1:14 p.m., Groveland - A water company reported a tenant has failed to pay a water bill for several months and has cut the lock off the water meter three times when the company tried to halt water flow on Ponderosa Lane.

1:18 p.m., Sonora - A man was arrested on suspicion of vandalism after allegedly losing control and breaking numerous items in a family member's home on Fair Oaks Court.

1:20 p.m., Tuolumne - Fraud was reported on Maple Avenue.

1:21 p.m., countywide - A statement was issued from Ventura County about a missing man in his 40s, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 150 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He might have been heading to Yosemite National Park. A white 2009 Ford Ranger was associated with him.

1:55 p.m., Long Barn - Someone reported harassment on Bonanza Drive from a collection agency with representatives saying they are from internal affairs within the state of California.

3:45 p.m., Sonora area - Someone left a motorhome upside down at the top of Red Heather Drive and it smelled horrible, said the caller. Trash dump enforcement was contacted with a request for a truck with a winch.

4:31 p.m., Sonora - A woman said three women in a white Caltrans van came to her home and said the state owns her home on Sommette Drive. The caller said she has lived there for more than eight years and has had no notification about the state buying the home.

11:20 p.m., Jamestown - A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at a business on Highway 108.


9:13 a.m., Sonora - A theft was reported on Rocky Road, with a welder, multiple grinders and other equipment reported missing.

9:24 a.m., Twain Harte - A burglary was reported at a Twain Harte Drive business in which someone broke the rear window of a pickup truck parked at the location.

12:33 p.m., Strawberry - Five cows were blocking Highway 108 near Eagle Meadows.

1:34 p.m., Jamestown - A man reportedly flashed a gun at a driver on Fifth Avenue and Willow Street. Police were unable to locate a suspect.

3:35 p.m., Sonora - Two men in their 20s were seen in a Woodside Way back yard, with a witness telling police they are "casing" the area.

4:27 p.m., Sonora area - Two men were reportedly urinating on a fence on Crystal Falls Drive.

6:26 p.m., Sonora - A fight was reported at a homeless camp during which a woman reportedly tore up a campsite at Stockton Street and Mill Villa Court,

6:48 p.m., Groveland - a man on a bike was reported to be hanging around Powerhouse Street and asking ambulance workers for a ride to Sonora Regional Medical Center. When told he needs to have a medical condition, the man reportedly tried to make one up before leaving across the street.

9:47 p.m., Jamestown - An assault was reported at Wigwam Road and Highway 108, though any involved party was gone when officers responded.

10:39 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - A man said he was assaulted by another man on Chief Fuller Way, claiming he was grabbed by the throat and punched when he tried to pick up some of his belongings from the other man's residence.

4:47 p.m., Sonora - Tracy Patricia Lovejoy, 42, of the 20900 block of Spanish Grant Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving without a license after an arrest at Dusk Lane and Morning Star Drive.


10:00 a.m., Sonora - Bart Anthony Salazar, 40, of 22945 Hudson Road, Unit B, Columbia, was booked suspicion of attempting to prevent or dissuage a victim or witness after his arrest at the courthouse on 60 N. Washington St.

10:41 p.m., Groveland - Sonny Dakota Shipman, 21, of the 19900 block of Pine Mountain Drive, was booked after an arrest on the 11200 block of Merrell Road. He was also arrested on suspicion of hit and run with property damage.


8:00 a.m., Sonora - Daniel Ray Clements, 25, of 12886 Mono Way, was booked after a self-surrender arrest to the county jail lobby.

8:07 p.m., Jamestown - Carlos Campechano-Contreras, 35, of 3618 Burny Ct., Riverbank, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Chicken Ranch Road. He was also charged on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

11:07 p.m., Jamestown - Lauri Ann Griffin Shockley, 37, of 16710 Boitano Road, Groveland, was booked after an arrest at Chicken Ranch Road and Table Mountain Road.
