The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


2:51 a.m., drugs - Someone started smoking drugs in a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street. He was told to stop or he would be evicted and he didn't stop. Police escorted him from the property.

7:46 a.m., warrant arrest - A man was arrested on a felony and misdemeanor warrant on Greenley Road.

12:53 p.m., warning - Someone was told to stay away from Sonora High School after previously being warned to stay away from Dario Cassina High School.

1:33 p.m., traffic accident - People exchanged information after a non-injury traffic accident on North Green Street.

2:18 p.m., fraud - A report was taken for possible fraud at a business on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

3:31 p.m., obstructing an officer - A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public and obstructing an officer at South Stewart and Theall streets.

3:44 p.m., theft - Shoes were reported stolen and recovered on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road.

3:56 p.m., public intoxication - A woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at Courthouse Square.

6:29 p.m., traffic accident - Someone reported a hit-and-run property damage accident, but the officer could not locate any fresh damage on the vehicle on the 100 block of Old Wards Ferry Road.

8:57 p.m., warrant arrest - A man was arrested on a felony warrant on the 400 block of West Stockton Street.

10:59 p.m., public intoxication - A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public on South Washington Street.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:47 a.m., Twain Harte - Someone reported fraudulent charges to a bank account on the 23800 block of Leisure Drive.

9:16 a.m., Jamestown - A man said someone pulled a knife threateningly on the 18700 block of Highway 108. Witnesses said the caller himself was the aggressor and deputies found no knife.

9:47 a.m., Strawberry area - A generator, batteries, extension cord and liquor were taken in a burglary within the last month at Brightman Flat on Highway 108.

10:09 a.m., Groveland - A man reportedly drove through a job site, running over safety cones, because he was unhappy with a tree service on the 12700 block of Cresthaven Drive.

10:14 a.m., Tuolumne - A woman reported finding all four of her tires flat, each with three to four nails in them, on the 18600 block of Madrone Street.

10:26 a.m., East Sonora - Someone requested extra patrol due to three separate attempts to siphon fuel on the 19000 block of Standard Road.

11:18 a.m., Sonora - Two callers reported a possible fight between a man and woman on the 12900 block of Chukar Circle. The man possibly had his hands around his girlfriend's neck.

12:27 p.m., Groveland - A high school student was cited for possession of marijuana on the 19300 block of Ferretti Road.

12:32 p.m., Columbia area - Someone said a man on drugs swung an ax at him and missed and hit his sister on the 13600 block of Borden Road. Officers concluded the man showed no signs of drug use and no witnesses saw any ax being swung.

3:27 p.m., Jamestown - A woman said her brother beat her up and may have broken her nose on the 10100 block of Shady Dawn Lane.

3:34 p.m., Soulsbyville - A golf ball shattered a plexiglass dog door on the 20500 block of Kings Court.

5:42 p.m., Jamestown - A woman on the 10300 block of Willow Street was scammed by people claiming to represent Publisher's Clearing House, who asked for account information to award her a prize, then charged her account $399.

5:55 p.m., Columbia - A home was broken into and numerous items were stolen on the 12400 block of Covington Road.

6:05 p.m., Jamestown - A white truck was driving the wrong way and hit numerous vehicles at Highway 108 and Main Street.

6:23 p.m., Groveland - A youth ran away from the 18800 block of Foote Street.

6:32 p.m., Twain Harte - Someone said a man and his son were walking with guns behind a home on the 22500 block of Golf Club Drive.

7:07 p.m., East Sonora - A shoplifter was cited and released on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

8:18 p.m., Sonora - A woman reported a possible prowler because she heard a voice on the 16300 block of Parkridge Avenue. A neighbor said he had been yelling at another neighbor's dog who came into his house, but that he didn't go to the caller's house.


12:57 a.m., Sonora area - A woman said her boyfriend had been drinking and was out of control, yelling at her, and punched a hole in a television on the 22400 block of Rhine River Drive.

5:35 a.m., Jamestown - Someone reported two men in camouflage leaving a residence that was recently burglarized in a white Chevrolet 1990s model long-bed extended-cab truck.

5:39 p.m., Sonora area - Someone believed people may have been casing the area in a "dirtbag" red 1990s Toyota Tercel at Paseo De Los Portales and Paseo De Los Robles.

6:31 p.m., Jamestown - Gregory Scott Eastom, 49, of the 17700 block of Black Bart Drive, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 near Fifth Avenue.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:18 a.m., San Andreas - Someone was arrested on a local warrant at the county jail on Mountain Ranch Road.

4:02 p.m., Arnold - An argument was reported on Saint Moritz Drive.

5:22 p.m., Arnold - An argument was reported at Manuel Road and Mill Creek Circle.

7:17 p.m., Copperopolis - Battery was reported on Kiva Drive, but the involved parties didn't want to press charges.

8:24 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on China Gulch Road.

8:26 p.m., San Andreas - Personal items were stolen from a business on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

8:53 p.m., Valley Springs - A goat was stolen on South Ranchero Road.


7:16 a.m., Valley Springs - Theft was reported on Baldwin Street.

7:37 a.m., San Andreas - Someone was arrested on a local warrant at the county jail on Mountain Ranch Road.

Felony bookings:


2:22 a.m., Valley Springs - Noah Joseph Flores, 33, of the 400 block of Gold Court, San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, drug possession, misdemeanor drug charges and misdemeanor and infraction warrants for drug and vehicle codes after an arrest on the 4400 block of Baldwin Lane.

2:53 p.m., Valley Springs - Tabitha Trelaine Bumpus, 18, of the 2000 block of Beverlynn Lane, San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on the 4400 block of Baldwin Lane.

9 a.m., San Andreas - Elaine May Killam, 59, of the 7200 block of Gwin Street, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest at the county jail on Mountain Ranch Road.
