The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:01 a.m., Wallace - Vandalism was reported at a U.S. Post Office on Camanche Parkway South.

9:21 a.m., Mokelumne Hill - A woman reported a stranger in front of her house when she returned from a walk who had a bicycle with a trailer and noticed her metal screen had a cut from top to bottom on East Center Street.

11:03 a.m., Murphys - A woman said she was in fear for her life after a disturbance on Tom Bell Road.

1:38 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone reported a "residentially challenged" man and woman sleeping in a boat on the back of a property on California Street.

3:54 p.m., Valley Springs - An alleged shoplifter was reportedly seen taking items on the first block of Highway 26.

4:24 p.m., San Andreas - Someone reported a cell phone and wallet stolen on High School Street.

Felony bookings:


12:30 p.m., San Andreas - Robert Gaylin Martin, 42, of the 500 block of Peterson Drive, was booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property worth $400 or more, possession of metal knuckles, possession of a billy club or sap-type weapon, violation of parole and misdemeanor being under the influence of drugs after an arrest at his home.

3 p.m., San Andreas - Carla Alexandria Gomez, 25, of the 700 block of Casey Street, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious injury after an arrest on the first block of East Saint Charles Street.

4:57 p.m., Valley Springs - Tommy Earl Jones, 55, of Citrus Heights, was booked on suspicion of obstructing an executive officer, violation of parole and misdemeanor public intoxication after an arrest on the first block of Highway 26.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10 a.m., traffic accident - Parties exchanged information after a traffic accident at West Bradford and South Green streets.

11:18 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A man was reportedly walking around without pants at a business on the 100 block of North Washington Street.

12:02 p.m., vehicle theft - A vehicle was reportedly taken from a parking lot downtown when keys were left in the ignition. It was found unoccupied elsewhere downtown by police.

12:03 p.m., fraud - Someone reported a client being scammed for $30,000 over the past few years on North Forest Road.

5:30 p.m., trespass - A woman who has previously been asked to leave yelled into a bar on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

8:42 p.m., reckless driving - A woman said she and her daughter were almost hit by a blue, two-door BMW on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.
