TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

7:33 a.m., burglary - Someone found a door kicked in at a business on West Bradford Avenue.

10:01 a.m., disorderly conduct - A woman was cited and released for disturbance, vandalism and drug charges at Rotary Park on Woods Creek Drive.

2:50 p.m., theft - A two-week-old theft was reported on Pine Street.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:29 a.m., Sonora area - A car was broken into and a breathing machine and drill were reported stolen on the 19400 block of Village Drive.

9:03 a.m., Groveland - Someone attempted to enter a business' drop box on the 18500 block of Main Street.

10:02 a.m., Sonora - A pistol and wallet were reported stolen on the 20700 block of Phoenix Lake Road.

10:09 a.m., Jamestown area - A motorcycle trailer was reported stolen and a fence was reportedly torn down on the 12000 block of La Grange Road.

1:26 p.m., Tuolumne area - A cell phone was stolen on the 17500 block of Tuolumne Road.

1:42 p.m., Jamestown - A shed was burglarized on the 18700 block of Highway 108.

2:31 p.m., Columbia - A woman said a neighbor confronted her with a tape recorder in her face after a board meeting, saying "Now I gotcha; I'm gonna get you," causing her fear on the 23700 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

3:13 p.m., East Sonora - Used appliances were reported stolen from the side of a business on the 14600 block of Mono Way.

3:36 p.m., Columbia - A woman said someone tried to scam her, but she didn't lose money, on the 12400 block of Big Hill Road.

3:52 p.m., Crystal Falls - Someone reported possible elder abuse on the 21800 block of Fallview Drive.

4:42 p.m., Sonora area - A suspicious man was reported selling vacuums door-to-door and was insistent on coming in for a glass of water on the 21600 block of Paseo De Los Portales. He was not found by police.

4:50 p.m., Twain Harte - A woman said she returned home to find her front door open and her two golden retrievers gone on the 23100 block of Hawk Lane.

6:22 p.m., Tuolumne - Someone stole a bottle of vodka on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

6:43 p.m., Sonora area - A dispute took place over people driving motorcycles past someone's house and a man possibly jumping others and making threats on the 16100 block of Big HIll Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:53 a.m., Valley Springs -Someone reported a man washing his hair in a business parking lot on California Street. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

10:25 a.m., Mokelumne Hill - A man reportedly used an outside water source to spray himself off on Ponderosa Way. He said he was lost, then left before deputies arrived.

1:57 p.m., San Andreas - Someone reported a man walking down California Street yelling and screaming. The caller said this is not unusual for this person.

2:27 p.m., Arnold - A bear was reported near Oak Court.

4:11 p.m., Burson - Someone reported property damage from an attempted theft on Kitty Hawk Court.

5:20 p.m., Arnold - Someone reported texts from an unknown person, suggesting criminal activity on the 800 block of Highway 4.

8:10 p.m., Valley Springs - Gunshots were reported near Chestnut Street and Sequoia Avenue.

10:46 p.m., Arnold - A man was arrested on local violation of probation warrants on the 2100 block of Highway 4.

10:55 p.m., Arnold - An explosion was reported on Camanche and Rawhide drives. Someone said it may be a transformer.

TUESDAY

1:21 a.m., Arnold - Someone reported people with flashlights on Pine Cone Drive.

Felony bookings:

MONDAY

6 a.m., San Andreas - Michael Ray Thurman, 34, of Stockton, was booked on suspicion of possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and misdemeanor unlawful possession of prescription drugs and driving with a suspended license after an arrest on Highway 49.

6 a.m., San Andreas - Kate Elijah Herrington, 28, of Stockton, was booked on suspicion of possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, drug possession and misdemeanor possession of a switchblade in a vehicle and drug paraphernalia possession after an arrest on Highway 49.

5 p.m., Valley Springs - Ernie Lee Marier, 63, of the 3300 block of Highway 12, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person after an arrest at his home. He was also arrested on a warrant for fraudulent use of a contractor license number.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

MONDAY

1:37 a.m., Valley Springs - Shellie Dann Mossa, 50, of the 100 block of Pine Street, was booked after an arrest on Highway 12 west of Southworth Road. She was also booked on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.
