9:07 a.m., San Andreas - Threats and disagreements between roommates were reported on Calaveritas Road.

9:19 a.m., Arnold - Forgery was reported on the 1200 block of Highway 4.

9:37 a.m., West Point - A man was arrested on a local warrant for marijuana possession after someone reported a suspicious man walking a big dog on Winton Road.

11:25 a.m., Arnold - Newspaper stands were found thrown off the side of the road at Moran Road and Flanders Drive.

12:25 p.m., Murphys - Someone reported a mountain lion has been frequenting the area almost daily for the last two weeks on Pennsylvania Gulch Road. It comes up to houses and decks with people present and makes no effort to stay hidden, the caller said.

1:07 p.m., West Point - A fight was reported on Winton Road.

1:30 p.m., San Andreas - A disturbance was reported on High School Street.

6:49 p.m., Mountain Ranch - A disturbance was reported on Garabaldi Street.

7:39 p.m., San Andreas - A disturbance was reported on Pixley Avenue.

7:54 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Someone called in concern of a man down for an unknown reason at Highway 49 and Golden Gate Drive. Officers found a sleeping man.

9:12 p.m., Valley Springs - A man was arrested on suspicion of violation of probation on the 100 block of South Highway 26.

10:20 p.m., Angels Camp - Someone heard a single gunshot and saw someone walking around behind buildings with a flashlight on Fairview Street.

11 p.m., Arnold - People were heard partying on the golf course on Meadow Drive.

11:55 p.m., Murphys - A loud party was reported at Murphys Park on South Algiers Street.


12:01 a.m., Arnold - Firecrackers were heard at Pine Drive and Highway 4.

1:23 a.m., Murphys - Possible assault with a deadly weapon occurred in an altercation at a bar on Big Trees Road.

3 p.m., Arnold area - Natalie Louise Smith, 38, of the 4900 block of Meko Drive, Camp Connell, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence, being under the influence of drugs, drug paraphernalia possession and driving on a suspended license after an arrest at Highway 4 and Boards Crossing Road.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


2:41 a.m., traffic violations - A man was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, displaying false evidence of registration, using bright headlights with oncoming traffic and driving without proof of insurance on South Washington Street. His vehicle was towed.

3:12 a.m., arrest - A man on South Washington Street was arrested on a Merced County warrant for driving on license suspended from a DUI charge.

9:14 a.m., traffic accident - Parties exchanged information after an auto accident at South Washington Street and Stockton Road.

9:45 a.m., vandalism - Graffiti and cut locks were found behind a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

10:23 a.m., animal complaints - Someone said a small black dog ran out of a property and tried to bite the person's daughter on East Pasadena Avenue.

10:42 a.m., hazardous situation - North Washington Street was closed briefly after numerous gallons of fluid spilled from a midsize construction truck between Jackson and Elkin streets.

12:58 p.m., graffiti - Graffiti was reported on the 100 block of Pesce Way, and transients were told to leave the area.

2:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone reported a suspicious man walking on the side of Highway 49 with what looked like a pistol on his belt. The officer concluded it was not a weapon.

4:53 p.m., traffic accident - Three vehicles were involved in a minor injury accident on the 1100 block of Mono Way.

7:38 a.m., Jamestown - A man reported being bitten by a golden Labrador retriever on the 18200 block of Main Street.

8:17 a.m., Jamestown - A man said he lost his Oxycodone pills on the 17100 block of Highway 108. The dispatcher said he sounded evasive, possibly intoxicated and reported his pills missing last month.

10:57 a.m., Sonora - Someone said a man was in the bushes stealing copper wire on the 20400 block of North Sunshine Road.

11:01 a.m., Twain Harte - Someone wanted police to check on a man with a shirt and tie and two women wearing long dresses knocking on doors and selling something and going onto decks and looking into windows on the 22400 block of Lina Lane.

11:27 a.m., Soulsbyville - A woman said her former friend took a car charger from her vehicle on the 20200 block of Starr King Drive. He admitted taking it and said a mutual friend would come get it and return it.

11:44 a.m., Columbia - A suspicious woman who seemed very confused was reported on someone's property on the 23500 block of Brewster Drive.

1:44 p.m., Sonora - A woman said her sister forged her father's signature on the 20700 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road.

4 p.m., Phoenix Lake - A man said someone created a fake email account and emailed a social worker to interfere with his adoption of a child on the 20000 block of El Ray Lane.

4:51 p.m., Sonora area - A man said he was sucker-punched on the 19600 block of Serrano Road.

5:15 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - Someone reported harassment on the 20700 block of Muheli Road.

5:17 p.m., Twain Harte - A woman said two men have been staying behind a business on the 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road and are leaving trash. She has talked to them before, but doesn't want to approach them because they have been drinking. They were gone when deputies arrived.

7:16 p.m., Sonora area - Someone said three women - including one who lives in the mobile home park - were walking around a vacant residence on the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road. Someone else reported a disturbance involving three women.

8:07 p.m., Groveland - Someone reported a fight on the 18500 block of Highway 120.

8:25 p.m., Tuolumne - Someone heard a sound like boards being pried off from the house next door on the 18700 block of Main Street. Officers said the house looked secure.

8:32 p.m., Jamestown - Someone said he was slapped by a man last night on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

9:30 p.m., Sonora - A man said his wife is out of control, yelling and breaking things, at their home on the 19300 block of Cordelia Avenue. She is not on drugs, he said, but the incident started when he took a few of her Percosets.

11:44 p.m., Groveland - Someone said a drunk driver hit a parked vehicle on the 18700 block of Main Street.


1:22 a.m., Twain Harte - A man was lying in the middle of the road on Columbia Drive at Joaquin Gully Road. He said he got lost on the way to his friend's house from a bar. A friend picked him up.

8:38 a.m., Sonora - Julio Cesar Hernandez, 39, of the 21000 block of Phoenix Lake Road, was booked on suspicion of intent to sell drugs after an arrest on the 1100 block of Highway 49.

2:34 p.m., Sonora - Branda Beth Webb, 53, of the 300 block of Elk Drive, was booked after an arrest at Delnero Drive and Greenley Road.

4:20 p.m., Tuolumne area - Sharon Anderson, 47, of the 15400 block of Buttercup Lane, was booked after an arrest at Blue Bell Road East and Tuolumne Road.

4:41 p.m., East Sonora - Catherine Yvonne Park, 58, of the 17200 block of Timber Lane, was booked after an arrest on Draper Mine Road. She was also booked on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs.
