10:41 a.m., San Andreas - A man said his firearm was stolen in Las Vegas on Friday but Las Vegas Police Department does not take reports over the phone. A report was taken.

1:38 p.m., Burson - An argument was reported in front of the marina on Wade Lane.

4:36 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone said his or her wallet was taken out of a cart at a store on the 100 block of Highway 26.

9:20 p.m., West Point - A man was arrested for public intoxication.

10:58 p.m., Arnold - Someone heard gunshots on Moran Road and Calaveritas Drive.


12:45 a.m., West Point - An argument was reported on Smitty Lane.

12:10 p.m., San Andreas - Mandie Rochelle Garcia, 37, of the 13600 block of Cunningham Road, Sheep Ranch, was booked on suspicion of forgery of checks, criminal acquisition of identity information, violation of probation and misdemeanor petty theft and violation of probation after a transfer from San Francisco County Jail.

4 p.m., San Andreas - Shana Gwendell Montgomery Sakata, 43, of the 100 block of West Saint Charles Street, was booked on suspicion of violation of post release supervision terms after an arrest at the Probation Office.

8:04 a.m., Jamestown - A dog owner said a neighbor keeps throwing rocks at the dog whenever it goes in the neighbor's back yard on the 11100 block of Golf Links Road.

8:23 a.m., Crystal Falls - Vandalism was reported on the 22500 block of Rhine River Drive West.

8:30 a.m., Jamestown - Burglary was reported on the 17100 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

8:30 a.m., Don Pedro area - A man said his back window was shot out on the 100 block of Bonds Flat Road.

8:57 a.m., Sonora - Someone said a man with raggedy clothing was on the side of the road with a broom, swinging it like he's sweeping at Tuolumne and Lambert Lake roads.

10:35 a.m., Jamestown - A man said someone tried to break in to his apartment sometime the day before and broke the dead bolt on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.

11:30 a.m., Sonora - Someone saidup to five homeless people were fighting at Elsey Court and Mono Way. One was arrested for disorderly conduct.

11:34 a.m., East Sonora - Someone said a person tried to open the gas access door on his or her vehicle on the 19500 block of Hess Avenue.

12:16 p.m., Columbia - A woman said someone stole a backpack on Aug. 1 and the next day she confronted him and he agreed to bring it back to the 11100 block of Jackson Street. He has not brought it back, she said.

12:18 p.m., Sonora area - A caller said he or she was sent to a property to get trespassers to leave on the 11500 block of Racetrack Road. A second caller said someone broke into the house and started screaming at them to get out. The first caller said the people left enroute to a funeral.

12:34 p.m., Columbia - A report was taken for a previous assault on a man on the 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

1:43 p.m., East Sonora area - Someone said a man has been putting signs up on their property illegally on the 14200 block of Tuolumne Road. The man agreed with police to take the sign down. A second call said he took the sign down and put it on his car, and parked his car in the same place.

2:54 p.m., Sonora - A computer was reported stolen during a burglary on the 19800 block of Little Creek Road.

3:51 p.m., Columbia - Someone said they are afraid of a former worker who did work for them and charged too high of a price on the 23400 block of Woods Creek Way.

4:07 p.m., Strawberry area - Sheriff's deputies assisted with a highway closure for a nearby fire on Highway 108.

4:16 p.m., Sonora - Someone said two women's mountain bikes were taken from a home on the 14200 block of Alder Lane.

4:37 p.m., Pinecrest - Someone said items were taken from a locked shed at Lodge Pole Avenue and Rustic Road.

6:05 p.m., Jamestown - Someone said several youths are drinking alcohol in an alley at Seventh Street and Ninth Avenue and someone locally is providing them with it. Police were unable to find any of them.

7:27 p.m., Jamestown - A victim was taken to the emergency room after being assaulted on the 10700 block of Seventh Avenue.

8:32 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman said her ATM card was taken from her apartment on the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road and has been charged for about $8,888.

9:14 p.m., Sonora area - A woman said she saw someone in the greenhouse on the property. She has been noticing that water for her horse has been disappearing and she now believes someone is watering the plants in the greenhouse on the 20900 block of Jamestown Road.

10:34 p.m., Jamestown - A man on the 10600 block of Oakmont Court said he chased a teenager out of his garage, who was trying to steal some alcohol and camera equipment but didn't get anything.

1:06 a.m., Sonora area - A disturbance involved someone "tearing up the place," threats to kill someone in her sleep and drinking alcohol on the 16100 block of Big Hill Road. Everyone agreed for one woman to stay the night at her friend's house.

1:44 a.m., Tuolumne - Someone was tearing apart cars and burning tires in the front yard on the 18500 block of Cedar Street. Police said all was quiet there and there was no sign of burning tires.

5:42 a.m., Tuolumne - Two plastic bags with a crystalline substance and a straw were reportedly found in a business on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North. The person later came and tried to retrieve the items.

5:58 a.m., Twain Harte - A man said his vehicle was vandalized with white spray paint on the 22800 block of Black Oak Drive.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


6:43 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A store manager asked a transient who was reportedly loitering to leave a store on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road. Instead the man laid down on the floor, then later left.

10:57 a.m., suspicious circumstances - An older woman in a yellow hat, yellow shawl and floral skirt was standing in the roadway and directing traffic at North Washington and Snell streets. Police were unable to locate her.

1:35 p.m., traffic violation - A woman was cited and released under suspicion of driving with a suspended license on South Washington Street and her car was impounded for 30 days.

2:16 p.m., harassment - A woman said people she had problems with earlier in the day were waiting for her after a funeral on South Stewart Street. Officers confirmed the earlier disturbance, but noted that the people just looked at her from across the street.

3:32 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone reported three boys and one girl broke into an apartment through a window and opened the door on the 100 block of Columbia Way. They were gone when police arrived.

11:54 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone heard some kind of animal or person growling on his back porch on Yaney Avenue. Police located a raccoon with babies that got into a food storage area and helped remove them.

3:45 p.m., Sonora - Vernon Noise Dunlap, 63, of Palmdale, was booked after an arrest on the 1000 block of Sanguinetti Road. He also also booked under suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

7:07 p.m., Jamestown - Gene Virgil Zanoni, 40, of the 17500 block of Campbell Flat Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest at Seco Street and Preston Lane.

11:41 a.m., Jamestown - Timothy Wayne Helus, 34, of the 18500 block of Jamestown Road, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury after an arrest at his home.

1:15 p.m., Columbia - Sherry Lynn Harrison, 50, of a Columbia address, was booked on suspicion of vandalism and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing an officer after an arrest at Columbia State Historic Park.

4:47 p.m., Groveland - Mildred Alecio Lopez, 33, of the 19600 block of Elder Lane, Big Oak Flat, was booked on suspicion go inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant after an arrest on the 13300 block of Clements Road.
