Power Fire reaches 300 acres

The Power Fire near Donnell Reservoir has burned 300 acres and was growing at a moderate rate as of 9:15 a.m. today.

>Stanislaus National Forest personnel updated containment to 10 percent this morning.

Highway 108 remained open this morning after being closed last night when the fire paralleled the highway.

No mandatory evacuations were in place, although advisory evacuations were issued at Mill Creek and Cascade Creek campgrounds, according to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office.

At 7:30 a.m., forest officials said growth was expected to reach 400 acres.

No injuries or burned structures have been reported.
