The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:21 a.m., Crystal Falls - A woman reported her home had been broken into on the 22000 block of Crystal Falls Drive. Things were moved around and a carton of cigarettes was stolen.

9:01 a.m., Sonora - An elderly woman on the 12600 block of Red Chestnut Lane was calling PG&E and threatening to blow them up because she is upset about her bill.

10:51 a.m., East Sonora - A man was threatening employees at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

11:31 a.m., Twain Harte - A woman on the 23700 block of Kit Carson Drive received a call from a man with an accent asking for verification on account information for medical reasons. She gave him the information, but decided to close her account. The bank informed her a check was written on her closed account, though she did not lose any money because of it.

12:50 p.m., Groveland - Someone stole two dog-training collars from a vehicle on the 19400 block of Ferretti Road.

1:05 p.m., Twain Harte - A man on the 21300 block of Tuolumne Road North reported that a suspicious man around his late 60s rang his doorbell several times, but "stumbled through his words" when the door was answered and left in a bright red foreign two-door car with a woman driving.

1:37 p.m., Jamestown - A boyfriend was drunk and fighting with his girlfriend at Main and Smoke streets. They were gone when police arrived.

2:09 p.m., Jamestown - Identity theft was reported on the 19400 block of Peppermint Falls Road.

4:29 p.m., Tuolumne - A man reported he was assaulted by another man after an argument about their living situation on the 18400 block of Carter Street.

4:31 p.m., Sonora - A woman heard a loud bang on the 9800 block of Highway 49 and went outside to find two holes in her trailer.

5:13 p.m., Long Barn - A man was destroying a fence on the 24900 block of Highway 108. Five minutes later, the man allegedly destroying the fence "stood by a knife that was in a tree" as he was confronted by a neighbor, because he thought his life was threatened.

7:48 p.m., Columbia - A man called in saying he had been slapped twice on the hand by a woman who was previously brandishing a firearm on the 22400 block of Parrotts Ferry Road. When contacted, the woman explained that the man was trespassing. She filmed him trespassing and he slapped the camera, so she slapped his hand. The latter brandished a firearm on her property when he was making threats.

8:08 p.m., Sonora - A woman heard a voice calling for help around the 16500 block of Anderson Drive. She later found out it was a neighbor's goat.

8:19 p.m., East Sonora - A boyfriend and girlfriend were in a disturbance on the 19400 block of Hillsdale Drive.

8:53 p.m., Jamestown - A caller reported someone was in the brush across the street from their home, on the 10600 block of Wigwam Road.

10:12 p.m., Sonora area - A man heard another man yelling around the Mono Vista Road North and North Sunshine Road about being attacked nearby by four men. When the caller went to the area, he saw one man in the ditch, who fled.

11:03 p.m., Soulsbyville - An argument was reported between a man and a woman on the 20800 block of Keith Court.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


1:48 a.m., suspicious person - Someone was knocking on the back door of a home on East Lyons and Palemone streets.

8:49 a.m., animal complaint - A report was faxed in about a dog bite the day before from East Hillcrest Drive.

12:01 p.m., reckless driving - A driver "almost ran (the caller) off the road" on Mono Way.

3:02 p.m., disorderly conduct - A woman was causing a disturbance in a business on North Washington Street.

3:29 p.m., suspicious circumstances - An elderly couple, allegedly intoxicated, fell getting into their car, then hit a parked vehicle as they drove away on South Washington Street.

Felony bookings


12:05 a.m., Jamestown - Christian Espinosa Gonzalez, 20, of the 18000 block of Third Avenue, was booked on suspicion of violation of probation and misdemeanor drug possession after an arrest on Third Avenue and Tenth Street. He was out of jail on bail from previous felony charges.

4:38 p.m., Sonora - Enrique Mejia Santamaria, 52, of the 21400 block of Madre Drive, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison or jail, manufacturing drugs, possessing drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home.

11 p.m., Soulsbyville - Corey Quinten Bisbee, 25, of the 18700 block of Kirks Road, was booked on suspicion of being an out-of-state fugitive and a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license after an arrest on the 19700 block of Soulsbyville Road.

12:08 p.m., Sonora - Charles Clyde Basham, 54, of the 24100 block of Oxbow Lane, was booked after an arrest at Morning Star Drive and Dusk Lane. He was also charged with a misdemeanor violation of probation.

8:53 p.m., Tuolumne - Sylvia Gonzalez Souza, 66, of the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road, was booked after an arrest at Tuolumne Road and Pine Street.

9:26 p.m., East Sonora - Melissa Amber Rose Heavey, of the 300 block of Alameda De Las Pulgas, Redwood City, was booked after an arrest at Tuolumne Road and Mono Way.

10:26 p.m., Twain Harte - Joshua Peter Stevenson, no address listed, was booked after an arrest at Tuolumne Road, south of Knox Drive.


The Sheriff's Department reported the following:


8:20 a.m., Copperopolis - Firearms were discharged near Feather Drive.

8:39 a.m., Angels Camp - A cow was running loose past the wooden bridge on Dogtown Road.

10:16 a.m., San Andreas - An arrest was made on a warrant on Mountain Ranch Road.

2:30 p.m., Glencoe - A fight occurred on Indian River Road.

4:19 p.m., Mountain Ranch - Someone "took a chainsaw to the gate" on Oak Lane.

6:37 p.m., Copperopolis - Someone was driving a golf cart on the wrong side of the road on Bay View Drive.

9:36 p.m., Valley Springs - A man was arrested on the Sequoia Avenue for allegedly possessing and transporting drugs, destroying or concealing evidence and committing a felony while on bail. Another man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and without a license.
