The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:41 a.m., fraud - Someone used another person's prepaid gas card at a gas station on the 100 block of Pesce Way.

10:12 a.m., reckless driving - A reckless driver was reported on Mono Way but officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

11:01 a.m., parking - A woman parked her vehicle in a handicapped space at the Tuolumne County District Attorney's Office and turned on the hazard lights. She left without the vehicle, which was towed. Police were unable to locate the woman.

12:50 p.m., suspicious circumstances - The woman who parked her car at the District Attorney's Office returned and knocked on the windows. She was advised that her vehicle had been towed and agreed to leave the area.

12:59 p.m., assault - A man was assaulted by his landlord on Columbia Way. He declined medical attention.

3:06 p.m., traffic violations - Kids were throwing water balloons at passing vehicles on Snell Street.

3:52 p.m., theft - A license plate was lost or stolen on West Bradford Avenue.

4:45 p.m., warrant arrests - A 28-year-old man and 25-year-old woman were arrested on the 100 block of Barretta Street on felony warrants for welfare fraud and perjury.

11:27 p.m., assault - A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault on South Shepherd Street.


12:32 a.m., theft - A wallet was stolen from a residence on the 200 block of Greenley Road.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:24 a.m., Tuolumne - A runaway juvenile was reported on the 18500 block of Willow Avenue.

9:20 a.m., Tuolumne - A 54-year-old man was arrested on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road on a misdemeanor warrant for theft and failure to appear in court.

Felony bookings


12:36 p.m., Sonora area - April Jane Clark, 38, of the 200 block of Greenley Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at her home.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:14 a.m., Rail Road Flat - Pieces of jewelry have gone missing from a property on Ridge Road over several months.

1:29 p.m., Valley Springs - People were arguing over a Jet Ski on Antonovich Road.

2:23 p.m., Copperopolis - Vandalism was reported at a business on Copper Cove Drive.

5:39 p.m., Valley Springs - People were arguing over reckless driving in a residential area on Thornicroft Drive.

6:47 p.m., Vallecito - A vehicle was burglarized while parked at Natural Bridges.

7:58 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle was driving recklessly at Vista Del Lago and La Contenta drives.

Felony bookings


11:22 p.m., Rancho Calaveras - Ryan Wesley Touvell, 24, of the 3300 block of Botfuher Road, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of violation of parole and a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license after an arrest at Botfuher and Dunn roads.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


2:43 p.m., Valley Springs - Richard Reed Haight, 41, of the 7400 block of West Hill Road, Jenny Lind, was booked after an arrest at Highway 12 and Lower Lime Creek Road. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license.
