CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

1:49 p.m., Arnold - A vehicle and dogs were stolen from a residence on Rawhide Drive.

6:12 p.m., Rail Road Flat - A driveway and dog pen on Liberty Hill Road were vandalized.

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

THURSDAY

2:23 p.m., Angels Camp - David Charles Hooe, 57, of the 1100 block of South Main Street, was booked after an arrest at Main Street and Raspberry Lane. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

7:23 a.m., Angels Camp - David Pinkney Sayle IV, 28, of the 3500 block of Davis Drive, Burson, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on the 1000 block of Highway 49. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of being under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:45 a.m., San Andreas - Earl Keith Surginer, 51, of the 700 block of Bald Mountain Road, West Point, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of his release at Calaveras County Superior Court.

10:28 a.m., Murphys - Jesus Fidel Avila Jr., 35, of the 700 block of Dogtown Road, Altaville, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant on the 200 block of Main Street.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

6:46 a.m., theft - A monitor was stolen from Sonora Regional Medical Center.

8 a.m., traffic citations - Two people were cited on suspicion of failing to stop at a stop sign on East Lyons Street.

10:40 a.m., traffic violations - A 47-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of driving without a license, failing to stop at a stop sign and no proof of insurance on Morning Star Drive.

11:26 a.m., warrant arrest - A 19-year-old man was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant for being under the influence of drugs.

1:04 p.m., theft - Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Rotary Park.

1:47 p.m., theft - A man was caught shoplifting inside a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. He dropped a bag of merchandise and left in another person's vehicle. Police told other agencies to be on the lookout for the man.

1:52 p.m., traffic accident - A non-injury vehicle accident occurred on the 800 block of Delnero Drive.

2:40 p.m., traffic citation - Someone was cited on suspicion of failing to stop at a stop sign on Morning Star Drive.

3:16 p.m., traffic citation - Someone was cited on suspicion of failing to yield to a pedestrian on Highway 49.

3:40 p.m., traffic accident - A woman hit a parked vehicle with her car and was reported possibly having a medical condition. She was transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center.

4:03 p.m., theft - Theft was reported at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. Police were unable to locate the shoplifter, who left on foot.

5:19 p.m., traffic accident - A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle on North Washington Street, causing a minor dent, and fled the scene.

10:22 p.m., traffic citations - Someone was cited on suspicion of no proof of insurance and a tail light violation at South Stewart and East Lyons Street.

11:55 p.m., traffic citation - Someone was cited on suspicion of not having vehicle registration on Restano Way.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:26 a.m., Sonora area - A 60-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant at Highway 108 and Cavalieri Road.

9:57 a.m., Soulsbyville - Theft was reported on the 20400 block of Starr King Drive.

11:55 a.m., Tuolumne - A woman got a call Wednesday from people telling her she won a prize and had to send $900. When she refused to send the money, they called her rude names.

12:22 p.m., Columbia - A woman said a check she mailed was cashed by someone other than the recipient.

1:31 p.m., Tuolumne - A home on the 18600 block of Carter Street was burglarized.

2:42 p.m., Jamestown - Someone's personal information was used to open accounts with Comcast and PG&E.

3:33 p.m., Sonora area - A woman ordered computer parts online and they were delivered on Friday to her old address on the 16600 block of South Creekside Drive. She said it has happened before and the residents have given her the packages but said this time that they did not receive a package.

5:23 p.m., Sonora area - A home on the 21700 block of Hunts Road was broken into and more than $2,000 worth of items were stolen.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

8:06 a.m., Phoenix Lake - Sunny Jay Maldonado, 35, a transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest at Paseo De Los Portales Road and Country Club Lane.

11:08 p.m., East Sonora - Delia Clare Geisler-Scott, 55, of the 13000 block of Jacksonville Road, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on the 13800 block of Mono Way.

THURSDAY

11:31 p.m., Jamestown - Beverly Lucia Peters, 64, of the 19300 block of Harold Avenue, Escalon, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Woods Way.
