Search on for missing Murphys woman

The Calaveras County Sheriff's Department is searching for a missing elderly Murphys woman.

Fay Burford 75, was last seen at a scheduled appointment in Walnut Creekon Thursdaymorning.

Family members reported her missingFridaywhen she hadn't returned home.

She was last driving a faded silver or taupe colored 1996 Jeep Cherokee. The license plate number is 4YMC949.

Banking records indicate her bank card was used in Coalinga at6:30 p.m.and in Lake Isabella at11:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Sheriff's Department.

Anyone who's seen Burford, or knows something of her whereabouts, is urged to call the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department at754-6500.
