The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:34 a.m., public intoxication - A man was stumbling into traffic on Stockton Street. He was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

3:14 p.m., fraudulent activities - AT&T confirmed fraud occurred on an AT&T bill on Saratoga Road.

4:44 p.m., fight - Homeless people started fighting after officers left at South Green and Yaney streets. They were later deemed OK.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


7:43 a.m., Phoenix Lake - A woman on the 15200 block of El Gato Lane reported that a man, around 30, in all black clothes, was crouching by a tree and staring at her. He took off when she saw him.

8:18 a.m., Sonora - A woman and someone else were in an argument about smogging a car.

10:41 a.m., Twain Harte - Neighbors on 23000 block of Fuller Road were in a dispute over a dog. One family threatened to "come deal with" the other family if the problem continued.

11:48 a.m., Twain Harte - A woman's son broke his guitar on the porch and punched his sister in the face before leaving their house on the 22600 block of Golf Club Drive.

12:18 p.m., Long Barn - A man claiming to be an appraiser came to a house on the 25000 block of Highway 108.

1:42 p.m., Tuolumne - A card with some money on it was stolen from a man's wallet on the 20100 block of block of Tuolumne Road.

2:42 p.m., Long Barn - Vandalism was reported on the 25200 block of Esther Avenue, and may be retaliation for an ongoing dispute.

2:54 p.m., Columbia - Barbecue propane tanks and some brass lanterns were stolen from a property on the 22300 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

3:09 p.m., Sonora - A person moving into a house on the 22100 block of Elizabeth Lane found a bottle of liquid mercury on top of boxes left there the day before.

4:04 p.m., Jamestown - A bike was found in the middle of the road at Twist and Jacksonville roads.

6:59 p.m., Twain Harte - Two or three young men were possibly seen inside a house on 18400 block of Marquis Drive breaking things. One picture frame was confirmed broken, but no one was found.

9:10 p.m., Groveland - A man was walking in the street waving his arms, believed to be drunk, at Rock Canyon and Cresthaven streets.

9:22 p.m., Jamestown - Two youths were caught with paint on their hands after a building on the 18200 block of Fifth Avenue was spray painted. They were turned over to parents, but there also may have been a third youth involved.

9:33 p.m., Soulsbyville - Someone tried to break into a home on the 20600 block of Gaughen Court. The caller also saw a suspicious green Ford Taurus drive by that day.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:38 a.m., San Andreas - A man was stumbling on Russell Road and believed to be drunk.

10:11 a.m., San Andreas - A person was hitting a vehicle on the 300 block of East St. Charles Street.

11:12 a.m., Murphys - Items were stolen from a property on French Gulch Road and the fence as found to have a hole in it.

3:27 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone littered on a man's property on Dennis Lane.

8:54 p.m., San Andreas - A woman has returned home on the 600 block of Mountain Ranch Road to find her door propped open for the third time.

9:45 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle dropped someone off, made a loop and picked the person back up on Cox Drive.

10:00 p.m., San Andreas - Beer was stolen from a business on West St. Charles Street.


12:37 a.m., Dorrington - Someone on Ute Place was upset with the phone service 411.

1:10 a.m., Burson - Vandalism to power lines occurred on Keystone Way.

6:25 a.m., Vallecito - A man was sitting on the porch of an abandoned house on Cedar Circle and possible looking inside it.

7:10 a.m., West Point - A woman said her friend told her that someone had been stabbed outside a bar in West Point two weeks ago and someone else took the blame. She said that the subject is "totally nuts," however.
