Angels Camp man flown to Modesto after motorcycle crash

A 34-year-old Angels Camp man had to be airlifted to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto this morning after a solo motorcycle crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Police said the man went off the road at about 9:51 a.m. at Highway 4 near Stallion Way and struck a concrete culvert. He lost consciousness and did not regain consciousness prior to the medical evacuation, according to officers investigating the crash.

The man's name is being withheld at this time while family members are notified.
