Burson Road fire contained

A structure and vegetation fire in Burson was contained at 3:13 p.m.

The blaze started at a two-story home on the 7300 block of South Burson Road and scorched one to two acres of vegetation, Cal Fire said.

It was reported around 1:35 p.m.

Cal Fire said the structure was fully involved when crews arrived.

Neighboring residents were notified but no evacuations were ordered, according to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office.

South Burson Road from Warren Road to Highway 26 is closed.
