Fatal collision

Emergency responders are at the scene of a fiery head-on collision that killed at least one person at Highway 49 and Fraguero Road, north of Sonora.

The accident was reported about 3:30 p.m.

According to one witness, a blue pickup truck collided with a white car. The car caught fire and then exploded.

The person in that car died.
