The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:37 a.m., Sonora area - A fire was reported on the 21800 block of Belleview Road.

11:43 a.m., Sonora area - A trailer was stolen from a front yard on the 18300 block of Hatler Drive.

3:10 p.m., Twain Harte - A local property management company received a fraudulent check.

3:17 p.m., Jamestown - Three bicycles were stolen on the 10600 block of Jim Brady Road.


11:41 a.m., Groveland - A man was waving signs on the 18600 block of Main Street saying a restaurant "sucks."

6:43 p.m., Groveland - While a man was walking his dog at Jackass Ridge and Jackass Creek Access roads, he stopped to look at a peacock. Another man came out of his house with a rifle and told the dog walker to leave.

8:36 p.m., Sonora area - A woman picked up her stepchildren, ages 3 and 6, from their mother's home on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle and found them home alone.


12:42 a.m., Twain Harte - A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after a fight was reported on the 19100 block Highlander Drive.

1:44 a.m., Twain Harte - A man threatened to shoot people at a bar on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive but no weapon was seen. He was banned from the bar.

3:22 a.m., Jamestown - A transformer fire was reported at Sixth Avenue and Seventh Street.

Felony bookings


6:05 p.m., Jamestown - Tanisha Elizabeth Flaherty, 26, of the 1800 block of West Rumble Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics after an arrest at a business on the 14400 block of Highway 108.


9:57 a.m., Sonora area - Jacob Donald Sabins, 22, of the 16000 block Hidden Valley Road, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling drugs, a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant after an arrest on the 800 block of Mono Way.


1:52 a.m., Jamestown - William Jack Kelly Burrows, 18, of the 12400 block of Casita Drive, Yuba City, was booked on suspicion of sex with a person under 18 after an arrest on the 10600 block of Jim Brady Road.

7:05 p.m., Jamestown - Michelle Terese Kear, 35, of the 10100 block of Peppermint

Circle, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury after an arrest at his home.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


2:33 p.m., Sonora area - Michael John Plesche, 46, of the 300 block of North Washington Street, was booked after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a license suspended for a DUI.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:42 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A business owner believed a man and woman tried to flush illegal drugs at the business on Stockton Road.

12:57 p.m., vandalism with property damage - A Mono Way man said a relative broke into his room and made scratches on his new stereo.

1:38 p.m., miscellaneous - A woman told to leave a store on South Washington Street was sitting outside drinking a beer. She was cited for having the open container outside in public.

4:10 p.m., public intoxication - The same 47-year-old woman cited above for having an open beer in public was reported to be at another store reeking of alcohol and was arrested on a public intoxication charge. A store employee said she also hit a clerk.

5:25 p.m., disorderly conduct - A man causing a disturbance outside a Sanguinetti Road business with the store manager was advised by an officer to leave and that he would be subject to arrest if he returned.

11:12 p.m., domestic violence - A 41-year-old man was arrested on a domestic violence charge after officers responded to a physical fight outside the police station on South Green Street.


11:46 p.m., vehicle theft - A vehicle was stolen on Ponderosa Drive sometime after 9 p.m. Friday.

4:16 p.m. traffic accident - An auto accident was reported on the 1000 block of Sanguinetti Road. Parties exchanged information.

5:06 p.m., burglary - A wallet, iPod and other items were stolen from a vehicle on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road.

8:30 p.m., traffic accident - A hit-and-run was reported on South Stewart Street.


7:03 p.m., traffic violations - A 30-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of driving without a license on Highway 49.

7:26 p.m., public intoxication - A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and loitering on Ridge Road.

8:33 p.m., obstructing justice - A 23-year-old woman was arrested on Horseshoe Bend on suspicion of making a false report of a crime.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


12:55 p.m., Angels Camp - Someone was driving recklessly at Highway 4 and Angel Oaks Drive.

2:13 p.m., Burson - People were drinking beer in front of a church on Highway 12 and pounding on its door. They left before a deputy arrived.

5:11 p.m., Arnold - An intoxicated person was refusing to leave a business on the 21800 block of Highway 4.

6:47 p.m., Murphys - Someone was talking to bushes and himself on Big Trees Road.

9:58 p.m., Amold - A burglary was reported on Blue Lake Springs Drive.


5:53 a.m., Burson - Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 11700 block of Wade Lane.

2:50 p.m., Arnold - Juveniles were throwing rocks at windows and loitering on Fern Way.


10:57 a.m., Murphys - A vehicle was burglarized at Murphys Park on Algiers Street.

6:24 p.m., Valley Springs - People were possibly hunting turkey with a bow. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife was advised.

7:19 p.m., San Andreas - People were gloing through trash bins on the 600 block of East St. Charles Street.

Felony bookings


10:24 a.m., Valley Springs - Tanner Jeffrey Reece, 24, of the 200 block of Daphne Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest at Laurel and Daphne streets.

3 p.m., San Andreas - Sarah Anne Shepard, 22, of the 4700 block of Heney Court, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of violation of probation after an arrest at the Calaveras County Probation Department.


1:30 a.m., San Andreas - Richard Alan Barr, 56, of the 1700 block of Maple Street, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and false imprisonment with violence after an arrest at Mark Twain Medical Center.

3:34 p.m., Copperopolis - Gregory Dean High, 22, of the 19200 block of Buchanan Road, Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty, battery with serious bodily injury and a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after an arrest on the 2900 block of Beaver Street.


7:30 p.m., Copperopolis - Tracy Lynne Sinclair, 44, of the 899 block of Sequoia Circle, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison after an arrest on the 100 block of Copper Cove Drive. She was also booked on misdemeanor charges of entering a noncommercial dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:07 p.m., Valley Springs - Jason Lloyd Copeland, 30, of the 10100 block of South Camanche Parkway, Wallace, was booked after an arrest on the 22400 block of Highway 26.
