The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:10 a.m., traffic accident - A driver backed into a vehicle in a parking lot on the 300 block of South Washington Street and left personal information.

11:43 a.m., driving under the influence - A patient who was under the influence of medication left Sonora Regional Medical Center against medical advice. Police were unable to locate the patient.

5:25 p.m., burglary - A vehicle was burglarized on the 100 block of Old Wards Ferry Road.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:05 a.m., Columbia - Two gallons of gasoline were siphoned from a vehicle on the 12400 block of Big Hill Road.

10:19 a.m., Sonora area - A woman reported that her house was vandalized by a man who was currently asleep at the house.

11:01 a.m., Twain Harte - Tires were slashed on two cars on the 22400 block of Broken Bough Lane.

11:03 a.m., Jamestown - An iron pipe was stolen on the 11100 block of Highway 108.

12:46 p.m., East Sonora - A non-injury vehicle accident was reported at Highway 108 and Jenness Road.

1:53 p.m., Columbia - A woman said her neighbor came into her home on the 22600 block of Lower Quail Mine Road and threatened her with a stick.

1:50 p.m., Sonora area - A package was stolen from a residence on the 20000 block of Gibbs Drive, and at least 20 gallons of gas was siphoned from a vehicle on the residence within the past few weeks.

6:42 p.m., Tuolumne - A man was causing a disturbance at the Tuolumne County Library. He was apparently trying to contact his girlfriend, who was in the youth center. The woman spent the night with a family member.

7:33 p.m., Sonora Meadows - An attempted break-in was reported on the 16600 block of Sallander Drive.

Felony bookings


6:57 p.m., Sonora area - Nicole Renae Schact, 30, of the first block of Ruth Lane, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after an arrest at her home.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


8:40 p.m., Jamestown - Paige Alyssa Stump, 22, of the 18700 block of Madrone Street, Tuolumne, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120 and O'Byrnes Ferry Road. She was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


3:08 p.m., Valley Springs - Theft was reported at Toyon Middle School.

Felony bookings


11:44 a.m., Copperopolis - Robert Thomas Simpson, 34, of the 200 block of Sunrise Road, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize and an infraction of possession of marijuana after an arrest at his home.

12:55 p.m., San Andreas - Philip Matthew Abrahamsen, 34, if the 2100 block of Manzanita Drive, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of false imprisonment with violence and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery after an arrest at Pope Street and Mountain Ranch Road.

8:45 p.m., West Point - Marie Antoinette Gomez, 65, of the 23100 block of West Point Pioneer Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale, manufacturing drugs and conspiracy to commit crime after an arrest at her home.
