Woman arrested on drug warrant

A Sonora woman was arrested Monday on a felony warrant and drug charges.

Sonora police were patrolling near Highway 49 and Pesce Way when they saw Roxann Tracy, 30, sitting along the side of a business.

The officers recognized Tracy from prior contacts and conducted a check on her.

They discovered she had a no-bail felony warrant for auto theft and possession of drugs charges.

Officers arrested Tracy on the warrant and searched her, locating a quarter ounce of methamphetamine that appeared to be packaged for sale, police said.

Each individual bag was labeled with a weight and price, the report said.

Tracy was also allegedly in possession of drug sale transaction records, cash and a meth pipe.

She was booked into Tuolumne County Jail for the warrant and new charges of suspicion of felony possession of drugs for sale, felony possession of drugs and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
