The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


2:35 p.m., San Andreas - Theft was reported at a business on the 100 block of East Saint Charles Street.


12:56 a.m., San Andreas - Someone was arrested on a local warrant on the 400 block of West Saint Charles Street.

Felony bookings


11:47 a.m., Angels Camp - Sean Alexander Jusa, 29, of the 2900 block of Highway 12, Burson, was booked on suspicion of violation of parole after an arrest on the 1200 block of Fairview Street.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


11:42 a.m., lost property - The Tuolumne County Museum turned over an antique firearm for destruction.

1:06 p.m., driving under the influence - A possibly drunken driver was reported at South Washington Street and Restano Way.

3:50 p.m., traffic violation - Someone was driving at least 50 mph in a 25-mph zone on Shaws Flat Road.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:36 a.m., Jamestown - An 18-year-old Stockton woman was assaulted at Lake Tulloch by a fellow classmate. The students were visiting the lake for "ditch day."

10:10 a.m., Tuolumne - Fifty gallons of diesel fuel were stolen from a county vehicle on Buchanan and Fish Hatchery roads. The caller said the thief must have had a key to unlock the cap and re-lock it.

11:25 a.m., Sonora area - A pressure washer was stolen from a shed on the 14300 block of Alder Lane.

1:59 p.m., Columbia - A woman was reported leaving her 10-year-old child at a residence on the 12000 block of Columbia College Drive without food or supervision for several days.

2:35 p.m., East Sonora - A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

2:50 p.m., Jamestown - People were smoking marijuana on the 10100 block of Peppermint Circle.

3:47 p.m., Sonora - Someone has been stealing mail from the 19000 block of Soulsbyville Road.

5:16 p.m., Sonora area - A golf cart parked on the 21300 block of Phoenix Lake Road appeared to have been stolen because a clothes hanger had been jammed into the ignition. No serial or VIN number was located and the Phoenix Lake Golf Course was not missing a cart.

7:59 p.m., Columbia - A woman and her neighbor got into an argument over a bottle of scotch and he slapped her in the face, breaking her glasses. They declined to press charges.

Felony bookings


3:17 p.m., Jamestown - Andrew Mitchell Turzai, 49, a transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of a silencer, shooting at inhabited dwelling, being a convict in possession of a firearm, being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition and a misdemeanor charge of possession of burglary tools.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


1:44 p.m., West County - Blake Roderick Donner, 47, of the 22600 block of Sandean Lane, Groveland, was booked after an arrest on Jacksonville Road.

2 p.m., West County - Ernest Luther Rubottom II, 66, of the 700 block of McFall Place, Manteca, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120.

10:08 p.m., Tuolumne - Daniel Lee Ambright, 33, of the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road, was booked after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.
