Fire officials are still on scene of a Tuolumne house fire that was reported this morning.

The blaze on the 19000 block of Mi Wu Street was reported at 10:42 a.m. and contained shortly after.

"They got it knocked out pretty quick," Cal Fire spokeswoman Lisa Williams said.

The exact containment time has not been reported, she said.

The cause was still under investigation and the damage unknown as of 1:30 p.m., according to Tuolumne County Fire Investigator Steve Gregory.

Engines from Tuolumne County Fire's Mono Village, Mono Vista, Jamestown and Mi Wuk stations responded.

Twain Harte Fire Department, Tuolumne City Fire Department and Cal Fire were also on scene.

For more information on the fire, see Tuesday's Union Democrat.
