A former Yosemite National Park employee has pleaded guilty to embezzlement charges, according to the U.S. Attorneys Office.

Mary Alice Walk, 61, of Midpines, entered the plea Monday. She admitted to using a government-issued credit card to make $32,820 in personal charges.

Walk's resume indicated she worked for the Park Service between 2006 and 2009. The U.S. Attorney's Office said she worked at Yosemite beginning in 2008.

Walk is scheduled to be sentenced by United States District Judge Anthony W. Ishii on April 15.

She faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
