TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:44 a.m., Ranchos Poquitos - A sign estimated to be worth $600 was stolen from Via Este and Highway 108.

11:04 a.m., Jamestown - Someone said a woman on the 10100 block of Peppermint Circle was yelling that she was going to burn down trailers in the area.

1:34 p.m., Sonora area - A woman said two men prevented her from accessing her storage unit on the 18600 block of Eagle Ridge Drive by parking a car against it.

2:22 p.m., Phoenix Lake area - A woman on the 20500 block of Upper Hillview said an unclean man came to her door, asked for her name and phone number and wanted to show her how to save money on energy. She gave him her name and number.

2:26 p.m., Yosemite area - An Aptos man visiting Yosemite National Park sent his girlfriend a text from an unknown location saying he had a flat tire and his battery was failing. A be-on-the-lookout was issued.

5:17 p.m., East Sonora - A woman reportedly trying to cash a stolen check on the 13700 block of Mono Way was arrested on several charges.

9:19 p.m., East Sonora - A man said $80 was taken from his wallet and his car keys were stolen while he was showering at a fitness center on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

1:19 a.m., Sonora area - Randall George Worcester, 58, of the 24300 block of Oxbow Lane, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon or addict, negligent discharge of a firearm and assault on a person with a firearm.

2:02 p.m., Sonora area - Erin Adams Coyle, 27, of the 800 block of Shaws Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of willful cruelty to a child after an arrest at her home. She was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of drugs without a prescription.

5:48 p.m., Sonora area - Meghan Regina Evans, 31, of the 1500 block of Sylvan Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of second degree burglary, impersonation and forgery. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of receiving known stolen property of $400 or less.

7:32 p.m., Tuolumne - Steven Robert Schoeffer, 62, of the 19900 block of Sommette Drive, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Cherry Valley Boulevard.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:27 a.m., vandalism - A vehicle was damaged on the passenger side while parked on Washington Street on Dec. 31.

1 p.m., pedestrian check - A person selling puppies in front of a business on Sanguinetti Road without a business licence was told to leave the area.

The Sheriff's Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

1:11 a.m., Valley Springs - Grand theft from a vehicle was reported on Gold King Drive.

6:18 a.m., San Andreas - Vandalism of a residence and a verbal argument were reported on Pine Street.

11:59 a.m., Murphys - A purse was reported lost or stolen on Mitchler Avenue.

12:19 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle was burglarized on Saint Andrews Road.

12:42 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle was burglarized on Oakmont Court.

12:45 p.m., San Andreas - Theft was reported at a marijuana dispensary on the 600 block of Marshall Avenue.

4:14 p.m., Copperopolis - A fight was reported on Sequoia Circle.

6:23 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle was burglarized on Contenta Drive.

7:20 p.m., Angels Camp - A fight was reported on on the 3000 block of Highway 49.

8:26 p.m., Valley Springs - A residence on Crail Way was burglarized.

11:28 p.m., San Andreas - A public intoxication arrest was made at Mark Twain Hospital.
