The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


11:43 a.m., burglary - A vehicle was burglarized on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

1:40 p.m., traffic accident - A hit-and-run accident was reported on the 1000 block of Greenley Road.

4:45 p.m., traffic accident - An accident was reported at the Mono Way and Greenley Road intersection.

6:41 p.m. theft - A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of receiving known stolen property and petty theft after a $76 power inverter was reported stolen from a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:35 a.m., Sonora area - An unlocked car on Gopher and West Walnut drives was broken into and the interior was covered in pepper spray.

11:03 a.m., Jamestown - A TV was stolen from a residence on Pioneer Circle.

1:38 p.m., Sonora area - People were trespassing at Sullivan Creek School on "motorized carts."

1:43 p.m., Soulsbyville - A PlayStation 2 was stolen on Cornucopia Mine Road.

2:42 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - A Ford Explorer and other items were stolen from a home on Golf Links Drive.

2:52 p.m., Jamestown - A fraudulent charge of $373 at Sea World was made to a Jamestown resident's credit card.

3:25 p.m., Sonora area - Someone was reported cutting down oak trees on a vacant Lakeside Drive property. Deputies were unable to locate evidence of chopped down trees.

3:56 p.m., Columbia - Jewelry was stolen from a business on the 11100 block of Jackson Street.

8:34 p.m., Tuolumne - A jacket containing marijuana was found at a business on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North. It reportedly belonged to an entertainer hired by the business.

11:14 p.m., Twain Harte - A man reported that his ex girlfriend's new boyfriend attempted to run him over with a vehicle on Golf Club Drive and threatened to kill him.

11:36 p.m., Tuolumne - About eight juveniles were seen fighting on Gardner Avenue.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


3:49 p.m., Valley Springs - Forgery was reported at a business on Nove Way.

5:35 p.m., San Andreas - A property on Sunset Street was burglarized.


1:11 a.m., Mountain Ranch - Subwoofers, speakers, an amplifier, an iPod and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Gold King Drive.

Felony bookings


8:40 a.m., San Andreas - Ami Phoenicia Carlin, 33, of the 5800 block of South Worth, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, possession of drugs for sale and misdemeanor drug charges after an arrest in the Calaveras County Jail lobby.
