The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:39 a.m., burglary - A business on the 500 block of Greenley Road was broken into and a fire extinguisher was taken.

11:39 p.m., public intoxication - A 37-year-old man was booked on suspicion of being drunk in public after an arrest on the 700 block of West Stockton Road.

12:50 p.m., theft - $900 was stolen from a purse Friday on the 100 block of Elk Drive.

1:44 p.m., public intoxication - A 67-year-old man was booked on suspicion of being drunk in public after an arrest on South Washington Street.

3:28 p.m., public intoxication - An intoxicated person was seen lying on a bench on the 10 block of South Washington Street.

5:57 p.m., driving under the influence - A person who appeared to be intoxicated was driving on Fairview Lane.

8:22 p.m., trespass - A man was harassing customers and tearing down signs at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. Police determined he was not intoxicated.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


7:19 a.m., Jamestown - A woman was yelling at employees and customers of a business on the 18100 block of Highway 108, where she has previously stolen items. She was given a trespass warning.

11:07 a.m., Twain Harte - A cabin on the 23100 block of Gray Road was burglarized.

12:52 p.m., Tuolumne - An iPad was stolen from a house on the 20300 block of Canyonview Drive.

1:04 p.m., Sonora area - A man stole two DVDs from a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

3:55 p.m., Sonora area - Four people were trespassing on a property on the 15600 block of Big Hill Road and got their truck stuck in the mud.

4:42 p.m., Sonora area - Locks to a business on the 14700 block of Mono Way have been tampered with for weeks.

Felony bookings


2:02 p.m., Sonora area - Nicholas O. McKaughan, 25, of the 2500 block of Tully Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary, receiving known stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime after an arrest on the 600 block of Twilight Court.

2:02 p.m., Sonora area - Randy Lee Wondra, 27, of the 1800 block of Pan Am Court, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of felony violation of probation, first degree burglary, receiving known stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime after an arrest on the 600 block of Twilight Court.

3:02 p.m., Sonora area - Shannon Deann Randi, 48, of the 18100 block of Highway 108, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and bringing alcohol or drugs into a jail after an arrest at Tuolumne County Jail.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


10:56 p.m., Soulsbyville - Kevin Lee Faulkner, 52, of the 20800 block of Oman Drive, was booked after an arrest on Caylor and Willow Springs drives.



9:06 p.m., Columbia - A flue fire was reported on the 22000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


11:01 a.m., West Point - An arrest was made after a landlord and a tenant got into a dispute on Bald Mountain Road.

noon, San Andreas - Equipment was stolen from a field on the 1000 block of South Highway 49.

2:03 p.m., Arnold - Items were taken from a rental cabin's garage on Fern Way.

2:26 p.m., Arnold - A cabin on Patricia Lane was burglarized.

2:51 p.m., Burson - People were arguing over oleanders at a property line on Burson Road.

9:30 p.m., San Andreas - An electronic device was stolen from the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road.

10:49 p.m., San Andreas - A man was looking into vehicles with a flashlight on the 300 block of West Saint Charles Street.

11:41 p.m., Valley Springs - A burglary was reported on Vista Del Lago Drive.
