TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:09 a.m., Sonora Meadows - A wedding ring, another ring, 30 Vicoden pills and two gas cans were stolen from a woman's house on the 21800 block of Fallview Drive.

7:17 a.m., Groveland - A woman said someone has been vandalizing her home on the 20700 block of Nonpareil Way when she is gone. She moved in Saturday.

9:32 p.m., Jamestown - People were reported "defacing" Table Mountain with big white letters.

12:39 p.m., Sonora area - A person fell for an Internet scam, resulting in a $2,000 loss.

3:38 p.m., East Sonora - A vehicle was intentionally scratched in a parking lot on the 13700 block of Mono Way. The victim was yelled at by a woman in the lot before the incident.

4:03 p.m., La Grange - A 25-year-old man injured his shoulder after being in fight, which resulted from road rage.

FRIDAY

1:14 a.m., Tuolumne - A man's iPhone was stolen from a business on Tuolumne Road North.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:54 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A woman was staggering into traffic.

11:43 a.m., reckless driving - Someone was driving recklessly near Mono and Restano ways.

1:56 p.m., unclassified - Oak leaves were possibly dumped illegally near Dodge Lane and Rose Street.

2:49 p.m., theft - A theft was reported at a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street. Employees did not request a report and police were unable to determine if a theft occurred.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

5 p.m., Sonora area - Jeremia Taylor, 31, of the 19700 block of Serrano Road, was booked on suspicion of grand theft; altering vehicle identification number for sale; and possessing, manufacturing or selling a dangerous weapon, while in Tuolumne County Jail on other charges. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of failing to deliver a defendant to court on bail, preventing or dissuading a victim or witness, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

THURSDAY

5:50 a.m., Sonora area - Maria Concepcion Duarte, 38, of the 17900 block of Pearmain Street, Adelanto, was booked on suspicion of theft from an elder and possession of marijuana for sale, after being surrendered by a bail agent. She was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of failing to deliver a defendant to court on bail and possession of drug paraphernalia.

THURSDAY

4:50 a.m., Jamestown - Douglas Clinton Hart, 54, of the 12400 block of Mills Street, Groveland, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120, west of Jacksonville Road.

5:38 p.m., Sonora area - Crystall Kathleen Lamarra, 63, of the 90 block of South Stewart Street, was booked after an arrest on Stockton Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:12 a.m., Valley Springs - A store on the 50 block of Highway 26 received a counterfeit bill.

3:01 p.m., Valley Springs - The lock to a shed on Grouse Drive was removed while the owner was gone.

3:47 p.m., San Andreas - A woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while under the influence of drugs after she was seen acting like a monkey in Turner Park.

FRIDAY

12:08 a.m., Dorrington - People were physically fighting on Sierra Parkway.

THURSDAY

1:15 a.m., Avery - Sherri Kay Whitear, 49, of the 3200 block of Chestnut Way, Angels Camp, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 and Canyon View Drive. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license.

3:02 a.m., Murphys - Kelly Jo Terry, 43, of the 700 block of North Algiers Street, Murphys, was booked after an arrest on Surrey Court at Gold Street. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana while driving.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

5:50 p.m., San Andreas - Travis William Key, 33, of the 400 block of Russells Road, was booked on suspicion of injuring power lines after an arrest at the corner of Market Street and Russells Road. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a public officer.
