12:37 p.m., Arnold - Someone reported petty theft from a vehicle on Murphys Drive.

2:43 p.m., Valley Springs - Electronics were stolen from a business on the 80 block of Highway 26.

4:59 p.m., Burson - An intoxicated person was walking around with pruning shears on the 11700 block of Wade Lane.

6:19 p.m., Murphys - A trailer on San Domingo Road was burglarized.

Felony bookings


6:11 p.m., San Andreas - Kimberly Jean Dea Collins, 25, of the 1000 block of Knief Lane was booked on suspicion of child cruelty after an arrest at her home. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


7:34 a.m., vandalism - Vehicle tires were slashed on North Norlin Street.

8:20 a.m., theft - A laptop was stolen from South Stewart street.

11:51 a.m., reckless driving - A car was seen driving on curbs of South Stewart Street. Officers determined the driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

2:36 p.m., controlled substances - A bag of marijuana was found at a business on the 10 block of South Stewart Street. The bag was booked for destruction.

3:35 p.m., public intoxication - A 58-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication after making threats to passersby on the first block of South Washington Street.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:05 a.m., Sonora area - A manicure kit and vehicle registration were stolen from a locked car on the 19700 block of Rawhide Road overnight.

8:43 a.m., Groveland area - Multiple tools, chain saws and other items were stolen from a locked maintenance shed on the 31500 block of Hardin Flat Road sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.

11:50 a.m., Sonora area - Four car tires were '"ice picked" on the 20400 block of Britta Court overnight.

12:45 p.m., Sonora area - A possible theft was reported after a pickup truck with copper wire in the bed was seen quickly leaving the 19600 block of Highway 108.

4:54 p.m., East Sonora - An intoxicated person was reported at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

Felony bookings


12:53 a.m., Sonora area - Allison Mary Artzer, 27, of the 500 block of North Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property and forging prescriptions after an arrest at Tuolumne County Jail.

6:19 p.m., Sonora area - Cynthia Elizabeth Dewitt, 54, of the 11700 block of Campo Seco Road, was booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property and possession of drugs, after an arrest on the 100 block of West Stockton Road. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of driving with a suspended license and violation of probation.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

3:04 a.m., Sonora area - Brian Gregory Corso, 44, of the 200 block of North Acia Avenue, Ripon, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Rawhide Road.

9:20 p.m., Soulsbyville - Douglas Linn Heseman, 63, of the 20900 block of Old Phoenix Lake Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest at Soulsbyville Road and Highway 108.



10:16 a.m., Sonora area - A possible fire was reported near the 21900 block of Phoenix Lake Road.
