Truck v. pedestrian accident

A Tuolumne County man suffered slight injuries when he was grazed by a car this morning near Sonora.

The accident on Highway 49, just south of Columbia Way, happened about 9 a.m., according to CHP Officer Scott Taylor.

Henry Chapman II, 47, was walking down the highway toward Sonora when

his hand was hit by the sideview mirror of a passing Ford F-150 pickup truck

driven by Devin Hall, 25, of Sonora, who was heading toward Columbia.

Chapman, who has no listed address, was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment.

No one was cited.
