The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

7:19 a.m., Jamestown - Lighted deer and dog decorations were stolen from a residence on the 17000 block of Red Oak Drive, and a spiral tree was damaged.

1:52 p.m., Sonora area - A residence on the 21000 block of Belleview Road was burglarized.

2:02 p.m., Long Barn - A purse was stolen from a woman's vehicle on Nov. 4 and her credit cards have since been used.

3:14 p.m., Tuolumne - A jar containing drugs was found at Black Oak Casino.

7:02 p.m., Sonora area -A hit-and-run was reported at The Junction shopping center.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


4:47 p.m., Copperopolis - Alicia Elizabeth Thornburg, 20, of the 18000 block of Tuolumne Road, Tuolumne, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120, east of Tulloch Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:15 a.m., theft - A GPS, CDs and paperwork were stolen from a vehicle on McCormick Drive.

10:44 a.m., theft - A vehicle on Elk Drive was broken into and a wallet was stolen.

4:01 p.m., burglary - A residence on Columbia Way was broken into.

4:59 p.m., theft - A theft was reported at Cost U Less on Mono Way and a 30-year-old woman was arrested on attempted petty theft charges.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:13 p.m., Hathaway Pines - Grand theft was reported on Canyon View Drive.

Felony bookings


3:41 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Christine Elizabeth Harmon, 31, of the 8200 block of Highway 26, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty, after an arrest at her home. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs.

3:41 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Thomas Michael Nichols, 42, of the 8200 block of Highway 26, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty and possession of drugs, after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of drugs and theft from an elder dependent.
