The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:09 p.m., burglary - Items were stolen and a mailbox was damaged at a rental house on Orchard Avenue.

1:18 p.m., reckless driving - A vehicle with a camper shell was swerving along Mono Way.

4:01 p.m., reckless driving - A vehicle traveling through downtown at high speed crossed over double-yellow lines to pass another vehicle.

7:23 p.m., theft - Someone stole beer from Country Qwik Way on West Stockton Street.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:02 a.m., Jamestown - Someone shot BB's into the windows and front door of All About Auto Glass on Highway 108 sometime after 1 p.m. Saturday. The business's phone lines were also cut.

9:24 a.m., Tuolumne - Gas was siphoned out of a woman's vehicle on the 20000 block of Ponderosa Way on Saturday night.

11:06 a.m., Sonora area - Prescription medication and jewelry were stolen on the 11000 block of Campo Seco Road.

11:43 a.m., Tuolumne - A five-gallon gas can and prescription medication were stolen from a truck on the 18000 block of Yosemite Road.

11:48 a.m., Long Barn - Property was stolen from a trailer at Sierra Village Chevron on Highway 108.

1:03 p.m., Columbia - A man said his signature was forged on a home loan.

2:25 p.m., Sonora area - Medication was stolen from a residence on the 13000 block of Beckwith Circle.

4:35 p.m., Soulsbyville - A woman reported that someone has been siphoning gas out of her vehicle.

5:32 p.m., Jamestown - A wallet was stolen from a vehicle on the 18000 block of Fifth Avenue between 5 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday, and credit cards were used in Jamestown.


5:30 a.m., Tuolumne - A pink crystal-like substance was found at Black Oak Casino

Felony bookings


2:35 p.m., Sonora area - Joseph Clarence Eastman, 30, of Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit crime after an arrest on the 20000 block of Grouse Way.

2:45 p.m., Sonora area - Sharmayne Faye St. Lawrence, 23, of the 11000 block of Columbia Village Drive, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary, conspiracy to commit crime and receiving known stolen property, after an arrest on Washington and Dodge streets. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:39 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone was hacking into a woman's computer on Cane Lane.

10:03 a.m., San Andreas - A mailbox was vandalized on St. Charles Street and Treat Avenue, and it appeared someone attempted to break into it.

10:52 a.m., Wallace - A vehicle was broken into on Highway 12.

11:58 a.m., Hathaway Pines - People were trespassing and cutting down trees on a property on Candy Rock Road.

12:30 p.m., Vallecito - A vacant house on Canepa Lane was burgled.

2:03 p.m., Rail Road Flat - Storage units on Ridge Road were broken into.

2:40 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle on Gold King Drive was burglarized.

5:23 p.m., Valley Springs - A GPS and other items were stolen from a vehicle, which was parked on a driveway on Bullion Hill Drive and was believed to be locked.


7:16 a.m., Angels Camp - A woman was cited for shoplifting from a business on South Main Street.

10:05 a.m., Burson - A trailer and metal were stolen on East Highway 12.

11:51 a.m., Valley Springs - Items were taken from a garage on Chestnut Street.

3:12 p.m., West Point - Identity theft was reported on Centennial Mine Road.

4:51 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle was burgled on Gold Dust Drive.

6:57 p.m., Valley Springs - Littering was reported on McCauley Road.

Felony bookings


12:17 a.m., Rancho Calaveras - Jacqueline Ann Rosofsky, 31, of the 11000 block of Brandy Lane, Burson, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest at Baldwin Street and Treosti Place. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of violation of probation.

12:17 a.m., Rancho Calaveras - Jennifer Ellen Reeves, 44, of the 800 block of Virginia Street, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest at Baldwin Street and Treosti Place.

11:45 a.m., San Andreas - Kimberly Lynn Johnson, 49, of the 8500 block of Dog Town Road, was booked on suspicion of indecent exposure and illegal entry of an occupied dwelling, after an arrest at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital.

8:40 p.m., San Andreas - Elizabeth June McMahan, 30, of the 340 block of East St. Charles Street, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and assault with a deadly weapon, after an arrest at her home.

10:08 p.m., Murphys - Robert Clarence Abbott III, 31, of the Tanwood Mobile Home Park, Avery, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana and other drugs, after an arrest at Murphys Hotel. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order and driving with a suspended license.
