The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:17 a.m., burglary - An unoccupied residence on Elk Drive was broken into through a window sometime in the past 10 days.

6:29 p.m., drug possession - A juvenile was cited for possession of marijuana after an officer stopped the juvenile near Stockton and Bradford streets.

10:50 p.m., public intoxication - Two 18-year-olds were booked on suspicion of public intoxication and being minors in possession of alcohol after they shot a paintball gun at a house on Summit Avenue. Officers searched their residence and found two pellet guns. A business on the first block of South Washington Street also reported a paintball mark on a window at 9:07 p.m.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

9:21 a.m., East Sonora - A man suspected his mail was tampered with and stolen from his mailbox on the 14000 block of Mono Way.

1:49 p.m., Sonora area - The garage of a vacation home on the 24000 block of North Oxbow Lane was burglarized.

Felony bookings


12:24 a.m., Sonora area - Jeremy Christopher Sneed, 19, a transient, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or drugs into a jail or prison, after an arrest on the 100 block of Hospital Road. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs and an infraction of possession of marijuana under one ounce.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol


7:14 p.m., Jamestown - John David Corry, 32, a transient, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120 at Keystone Ranch.

3:40 p.m., Jamestown - Ross Allen Goldman, 73, of the 18000 block of Seco Street, was booked after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


6:59 a.m., Arnold - Vandalism was reported on Rawhide Drive.

Felony bookings


11:40 p.m., Angels Camp - Russell D. Cline, 30, of the 20000 block of Old Buchanan Mine Road, Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs Tuesday after an arrest on Stockton Road, south of Main Street. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a public officer.

8:56 a.m, San Andreas - Angel Lynn Sexton, 34, of the 3900 block of Blagen Boulevard, Wilseyville, was booked on suspicion of burglary in the second degree after an arrest in the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office lobby.
