The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:53 a.m., Sonora area - A woman has had ongoing problems with people vandalizing a pool pump and lawn timers at her home on the 12000 block of Red Maple Circle.

1:35 p.m., Jamestown - A fence and lock at property near Jacksonville and Twist roads were cut Wednesday, allowing horses to escape. One of the horses was hit by a car about 7:26 p.m Wednesday, and the property owner reported Thursday that numerous items were taken, including three vehicles and a trailer.

1:42 p.m., Strawberry - About 100,000 gallons of water was stolen from a vacation home between August and September. The water company involved was checking for leaks in the line.

Felony bookings


11:41 a.m., Sonora area --- Amber Rae Guzman-Powers, 36, was booked on suspicion of burglary after an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

9:57 p.m., Soulsbyville -Jarred Lee Preston, 29, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury after an arrest on the 20000 block of West Willow Springs Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:07 a.m., theft - A transient had a bottle of medication stolen out of his backpack while staying in the silo off Hospital Road.

11:01 a.m., traffic accident - A parked vehicle was hit sometime overnight and the left rear was damaged.

1:32 p.m., reckless driving - A vehicle was seen driving recklessly on Mono Way.

3:57 p.m., reckless driving -Two men engaged in "road rage" and parked outside of a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. The men went into a businesses, where officers advised them of the complaint.

6:16 p.m., lost property -Someone lost a wallet sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning, possibly leaving it in a shopping cart at a store on the 1000 block of Mono Way.



11:51 a.m., Copperopolis - A burglary was reported at a residence on Sawmill Road.

12:28 p.m., San Andreas - A health and safety code violation citation was issued at Calaveras High School.


7:34 a.m., vandalism - Doors of buildings at Calaveras High School were spray-painted.

Felony bookings


10 a.m., San Andreas - Camille Suzanne Green, 49, of the 7000 block of Victory Lane in Mokelumne Hill, was booked on suspicion of using drugs while in possession of a firearm in a public building, after an arrest in the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office lobby on Mountain Ranch Road.

6:08 p.m., San Andreas - Joseph Cyle Heiss, 28, of the 4000 block of Teton Court in Ione, was booked on suspicion of possession of planting and selling marijuana, after an arrest near highways 49 and 12. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor of possession of marijuana.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol


7:10 a.m., San Andreas - Harold Wayne Bunnell, 59, of the 160 block of Myrtle Street in Valley Springs, was booked after an arrest behind the Calaveras County Jail on Mountain Ranch Road.

5:57 p.m., Valley Springs - Linda Joyce Belli, 63, of the 5700 block of Camanche Parkway North in Ione, was booked after an arrest in a parking lot on the 50 block of Highway 26.
