Snow closes Sonora Pass

Caltrans on Thursday closed a portion of Sonora Pass due to snow.

The pass was closed 26.4 miles east of Strawberry to the Mono County line, Caltrans announced.

Caltrans has yet to say how long the pass is expected to be closed. Read tomorrow's edition of The Union Democrat for more details.
