TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

9:16 a.m., Sonora area - A man said someone burned the driver's side of his vehicle on Sparrow Lane.

9:49 a.m., Phoenix Lake area - A man on Meadow Brook Drive said he sent money to a company in Texas to get lottery winnings he didn't enter to win and never received. He also sent money to other states so the company would enter him in other lotteries.

9:56 a.m., Jamestown - Intoxicated transients were reportedly hanging out in Rocca Park on Main Street.

11:18 a.m., Columbia - A man on Columbia Village Drive said his child was bullied at school and another child threatened to shoot his son.

11:39 a.m., Sonora area - Rings were stolen from a home on West Walnut Street.

12:01 p.m., Cedar Ridge - A chain saw, remote-controlled car and saws were stolen on Hillside Drive.

TUESDAY

1:15 a.m., Jamestown - Jose Gutierrez, 42, of Keyes, booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

9:53 a.m., Columbia - Amber Rae Powers, 36, transient, booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest on the 12400 block of Big Hill Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:44 p.m., theft - A grocery shopping cart was taken from a man on North Washington Street. The grocery store manager declined to press charges.

1:34 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A man and woman were engaging in sexual activity at the bus stop in front of the library on Greenley Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

10:48 a.m., San Andreas - A vehicle was vandalized on Main Street.

1:58 p.m., San Andreas - Someone was passed out in a vacant house on Mountain Ranch Road.

7:16 p.m., Arnold - An arrest was made following an assault on Pine Drive.

TUESDAY

4:32 a.m., Angels Camp - Raul Orlando Garcia III, 25, of Sacramento, booked on suspicion of narcotic possession and misdemeanor drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest on North Main Street at Copello Street.

8:09 p.m., Arnold - Charles Joseph Sanderson, 32, of the 2800 block of Pine Drive, booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment, and misdemeanor child abuse, after an arrest at his home.
