The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:53 a.m., Sonora area - A man on the 19600 block of Rawhide Road said his father was the victim of identity theft.

11:32 a.m., East Sonora - A man ran out of a store on the 13700 block of Mono Way with shoes he didn't pay for.

12:27 p.m., Sonora area - Someone reported the repeated theft of light bulbs at a business on the 19900 block of Greenley Road.

1:20 p.m., Soulsbyville - A man wearing a "devil's mask" stole a bag of aluminum cans valued at $15 from a property on the 17000 block of Mono Vista Road South.

4 p.m., Crystal Falls - A residence on the 21200 block of Crystal Falls Drive was burglarized. Entry was made using a duplicate garage door opener.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


1:01 a.m., Tuolumne - Kyle Franklin Birdsong, 18, of the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road, was arrested at a business on the 19400 block of Cherry Valley Boulevard North.

5:23 p.m., Phoenix Lake area - Edward John Leers, 51, of the 21500 block of Phoenix Lake Road, was arrested at his home.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


6:11 a.m., theft - A loaded handgun was taken from a woman's vehicle on Southgate Drive.

2:11 p.m., warrant arrests - A 57-year-old man was arrested in the lobby of a business on Greenley Road for a no-bail felony warrant.

4:07 p.m., public intoxication - A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found lying on the ground in Coffill Park on South Washington Street.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:49 a.m., Arnold - Something was vandalized at a business on Highway 4.

11:56 a.m., Arnold - A burglary occurred on Menominee Court.

3:31 p.m., Avery - Someone called to report a bus shelter that at Highway 4 and Rancho Paradiso Road was missing.

6:01 p.m., Jenny Lind - There was a burglary on Ospital Road.


12:36 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Someone vandalized a water tank on Rainbow Mountain Ranch Road.

3:05 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Identity theft was reported at a business on North Main Street.

8:18 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Hartvickson Lane hired a landscaper to install a fence but someone cut the posts.

8:26 p.m., Murphys - A shed was broken into on Woodland Drive.

10:35 p.m., Valley Springs - A man on Golden Leaf Court said his neighbor came to his door and told him there was someone in his backyard. They then heard some scuffling and sounds of someone hopping a fence.

Felony bookings


7:45 a.m., Rail Road Flat - Janice Elaine Allen, 53, of the 100 block of Rail Road Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of a drug, after an arrest on Summit Level Road.


10:19 a.m., Copperopolis - Jon Lawrence Nyland, 34, of the 900 block of Iriquois Circle, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, after an arrest at his home.


8 p.m., Campo Seco - Kimberly Kae Laub, 42, of the 4100 block of Campo Seco Road, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and making criminal threats, after an arrest at her home.

9:35 p.m., Rail Road Flat - Shannon David Sales, 44, of the 1800 block of Liberty Valley Road, was booked on suspicion of child endangerment and misdemeanor charges of public intoxication and battery, after an arrest at his home.

11:14 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Roger Laurence Ebbett, 60, of the 20400 block of Smith Road, was arrested on Railroad Flat Road south of Jesus Maria Road.


9:50 a.m., Burson - Richard Warner Holden, 54, of the 13700 block of Kettleman Lane, Lodi, was arrested at Carmel and Burson roads.


2:02 a.m., Valley Springs - Amy Eileen White, 26, of the 4900 block of East Ashley Lane, Stockton, was arrested at Baldwin and Garner streets.
